Holly and Shimmer III

Hello everyone,

Today I'm posting the third card in my Holly and Shimmer card series. This is a real wowie card if I do say so myself!

The background paper is a shimmery red of unknown origin (purchased on the Montreal shopping trip) textured with Sizzix Holly and Berries. The image is Outlines Large Holly Leaves Topper stamped in Stampin' Up Soft Suede, clear heat embossed and painted with Poppy Red, Forest Green and Golden Opal LuminArte Twinkling H2Os. The sentiment is Stamp Barn stamped in Forest Foliage on Very Vanilla and layered on a shimmery green of unknown origin (also acquired in Montreal).

This is a fabulous card! This image is spectacular against the shimmery red which embosses so wonderfully. You wouldn't believe the shimmery papers that I found. There are some more pretty awesome cards on the way!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Holly and Shimmer II

Hello everyone,

Today's card is the second post using one of the new stamps I recently acquired. Where yesterday's was horizontal, today's is vertical. Either plane works great!

The card base is Autumn Leaves. The image is Outlines Large Holly Leaves Topper. It is stamped in Stampin' Up Crumb Cake, clear heat embossed and painted with Ruby Red, Douglas Fir and Golden Opal LuminArte Twinkling H2Os. The sentiment is PaperTrey Ink Signature Christmas stamped in Stampin' Up Cherry Cobbler on Very Vanilla and layered on brushed gold of unknown origin. The embellishments are TPC Studio Holly Jolly and Holly Jolly mini jewels.

I think this may be my favourite of the three cards I've got for you using this stamp. I just kept going and going with the embellishments. It turned out even better than I thought it would.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Holly and Shimmer I

Hello everyone,

Today's card uses a new holly stamp that I just picked up on a recent trip to Montreal with a cardmaking friend. It was an overwhelming trip in that we visited two stores (Scrapbook Centrale and Bonnidee) and saw a ton of great stuff we'd never seen before. I've lots of new things to play with and I can't wait to 'show and tell'.

The card base is Autumn Leaves. The image is Outlines Large Holly Leaves Topper. It is stamped in Nick Bantock Charcoal Grey, clear heat embossed then painted with Ruby Red, Douglas Fir and Golden Opal LuminArte Twinkling H2Os. The sentiment is Annabelle Stamps Holly Leaves stamped in Stampin' Up Cherry Cobbler on Whisper White and layered on a gold paper of unknown origin. The embellishments are EK Success Shimmering Gold Dots.

I love this card! Is it any surprise that I was drawn to this stamp? I wasn't sure about the size at first, there wasn't a smaller size, but figured if I used a larger card base, it would work. I thought using just half the stamp was inspired. Another reason why this stamp appealed was because it is perfect for painting.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Layered Green Thanks

Hello everyone,

The card I've got for you today is a thank you for the friend of a colleaguewho is into all things 'green'.

The printed paper is DCWV Green Stack. The solid papers are Stampin' Up Wild Wasabi, Blue Bayou, Whisper White and textured Dusty Durango. The sentiment is Hero Arts Thank You Messages stamped in Nick Bantock Deep Turquoise.

Being a 'green' card I didn't use any new papers, only scraps. I also left out any embellishments. Clean, simple and almost as 'green' as I could do.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Girly, Girly

Hello everyone,

Today's card is a complete 360 from yesterday's card. It is for a four-year-old little girl. As much as I kept things clean and simple for the uncle card, I couldn't get girly enough for today's.

The patterned paper is DCWV Birthday layered on Stampin' Up Lavender Lace. The vertical element is more Lavender Lace, textured with Couture Creations Washed Away, highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen and layered on Whisper White. The butterflies are Recollections Glitter Shapes. The sentiment is Stampendous Retro Happy Birthday. The embellishments are Close To My Heart Purple Sparkles.

I love this super girly card. I think I'm going to case it in pink! It is actually a very simple layout but with lots of extra little bits to 'girl it up'! I think it is perfect for a little glitter. I know my daughter would have loved it and I hope the little girl who is receiving it loves it too.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Happy Birthday

Hello everyone,

Today's card is for a colleague's uncle. He lives out of town and she wanted to send him something special.

The paper is Stampin' Up Urban Oasis designer series paper, Kraft and Basic Black. The sentiment is Stampin' Up It's Your Birthday. The embellishments are Hero Arts Black Pearls.

I didn't get a lot of hints for this card, though my colleague did say that her uncle was a businessman, he is in a nursing home and is in his nineties. I decided to keep it simple and tailored and I think I succeeded. This card's punch comes from the fabulous paper which is really well-suited for a masculine card. The paper gives me a sense of the 60's when her uncle likely would have been in his heydays. No fuss, no muss - it works.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

50th Anniversary

Hello everyone,

Today's card was crafted for a colleague whose parents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. What an accomplishment!

The background paper is a gold of unknown origin. The printed paper is the Paper Company Ivory Paisley on White Matter. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado stamped in Stampin' Up Shimmery White with Soft Suede. The embellishments are Crystal Stickers gold pearls.

I just love this card. My colleague requested something shimmery and of course, gold and this card couldn't have turned out any better. I played with a number of papers and layouts but I'm glad I stuck with this because it really works well.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Pretty Poinsettia

Hello everyone,

This is the last card in my Christmas series for one of my colleagues.

The background paper is K&Company Yuletide. The vertical element is Stampin' Up Certainly Celery and Ruby Red which was dry embossed with Sizzix Winter Botanicals and highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen. The sentiment is Bonnidee French Greetings #2 stamped in Ruby Red on Close To My Heart Colonial White.

I think this is a great Christmas card. I don't usually use paper with such large graphics as I find they don't always work well on a card. This series of cards uses 5X7" card bases which can handle a large image. I just got this Sizzix embossing folder and I love it! It couldn't have worked better with this paper. I love it when cards come together so beautifully.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Five, Four, Three, Two, One

Hello everyone,

Card four in my colleague's Christmas card series. I had some fun with bling!

The background paper is Close To My Heart Mistletoe. The ribbon is Offray and Ribbon Bowtique. The solid paper is Close To My Heart Cranberry, New England Ivy and Colonial White. The strip on the right is Colonial White glittered with Crystal Glitter Ritz Warm Transparent Micro Fine Glitter and textured with Sizzix Snowflakes. The sentiment is Stampin' Up Benedictions de saison. The embellishments are Mark Richards Metallics. The different elements are highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.

I love this card. I couldn't seem to stop with the metallics. This is great paper too - the vintageness really works great.

I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

More Christmas Snowflakes

Hello everyone,

Today I'm posting card three in my colleague's Christmas card series. I went crazy with the snowflakes.

The card base Close To My Heart Cranberry. The printed paper is Mistletoe. The focal element is watercolour paper stamped with Impression Obsession Snowflake 3 and Stampin' Up Snowflurries in VersaMark which were then clear heat embossed. The sentiment is Stampin' Up Benedictions de saison which was also stamped in VersaMark and clear heat embossed. The paper was then washed with LuminArte Deep Coral, Golden Opal, Persimmon and Poppy Red Twinkling H2Os. It was then layered on Close To My Heart Colonial White. The embellishments are Pebbles Pearl Candy Dots and K&Company 'The Kiss' Adhesive Gems.

I love this card. I don't often craft 'resist' cards but I was inspired to mimic the printed paper. I don't think this card could have worked any better.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas Snowflakes

Hello everyone,

Today I'm posting card two of five in a series of Christmas cards for one of my colleagues.

The background paper is the flip side of BoBunny's Father Christmas Holly layered on Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip and Recollections. The snowflakes are Close To My Heart Colonial White glittered with Crystal Glitter Ritz Warm Transparent Micro Fine Glitter and cut with Spellbinders Create A Flake 3. The sentiment is Stampin' Up Voeux mignons. The embellishments are Close To My Heart Mocha Opaques.

I'm in love with this non-traditional Christmas card. The BoBunny paper was a gift from a friend and she couldn't have choosen better - holly on one since and some really lovely swirly snowflakes on the other.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Thinking Christmas

Hello everyone,

Today's card is part of the package of commissioned cards for my colleague who I've posted about the last few days. In addition to the teachers gifts and the gift tags, she asked for five Christmas cards. I'm very pleased with this series of French cards. I borrowed the stamps and it has been great fun playing with different images and sentiments.

The background paper is BoBunny Father Christmas Holly. The solid papers are Recollections. The image and sentiment are Stampin' Up Benedictions de saison. The chickadee and holly branch were stamped in Crumb Cake, clear heat embossed and painted with a variety of LuminArte Twinkling H2Os.

This card turned out even better than I had in my mind. The clear heat embossing making painting within the lines easier and it appears to be rather light gold in colour. I had originally thought to add some little embellishments but with the great paper and Twinkling H2Os, it just didn't need it. I know my colleague will love it!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas Gift Cards

Hello everyone,

I'm posting something really new today. I've recently discovered a love for crafting gift cards. These simple 3"X3" cards are an absolute joy to craft. The five I'm posting today were commissioned for the same colleague who asked for the teachers gifts that I posted the last couple of days.

The card bases are either Stampin' Up Real Red or Close To My Heart Colonial White.

The printed paper is Stampin' Up Christmas Cocoa Specialty paper layered on Whisper White. The sentiment is Bonnidee Xmas Wording 3. The embellishments are TPC Studio Holly Jolly Jewels.

The sentiment is Stampin' Up Benedictions de saison, stamped in Real Red on Whisper White, highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen and layered on Canford Gold. The embellishments are Recollections.

The background paper is Stampin' Up Glossy paper textured with Cuttlebug Winter Wonderland dry embossing folder and painted with Ranger Adirondack cranberry and gold mixative alcohol ink. The image is Peel-Off's Christmas Trees outline sticker adhered to vellum and coloured with Tombow markers. The sentiment is Bonnidee French Greetings #2 stamped in Cherry Cobbler on Very Vanilla. The image and sentiment are layered on Canford Gold.

The background paper is Little Yellow Bicycle 25 Days of Christmas. The sentiment is Stampin' Up Benedictions de saison stamped in Real Red on Whisper White and highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen. The embellishments are TPC Studio Holly Jolly Jewels.

The images are Annabelle stamps Holly Branch heat embossed with Close To My Heart gold embossing powder and painted with a variety of LuminArte Twinkling H2Os. The sentiment is Stampin' Up Voeux mignons.

I just love these little cards. They are super quick and easy. A really fabulous way to use up scraps of all kinds. I actually made fifty of these little cards a couple of weeks ago and they were a great seller in our charity card sale.

I hope you enjoy these tiny cards and come back to SPI again soon.

Teachers Gifts II

Hello everyone,

Today I'm posting the remaining two cards in the package of teachers gifts that a colleague commissioned.

The card bases are DCWV Box of Cards. The printed paper is BasicGrey Oxford.

The sentiment is Stampin' Up Voeux mignons stamped in Night of Navy. The printed paper is layered on Red and Blue Recollections paper. The embellishments are Close To My Heart Mocha Opaques.

The printed paper is layered on Stampin' Up Basic Black. The sentiment is Bonnidee French Greetings #2. The embellishments are Hero Arts.

The second card is by far my favourite. I just love the Oxford paper, it couldn't be more perfect for these teachers cards. I think the blue and black combination is wonderful. These four cards will be great for my colleague's kid's teachers.

I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

Teachers Gifts

Hello everyone,

Today's cards were commissioned by a colleague who is looking for a couple of card sets for her kids teachers. We've come up with four cards that I think will work great!

The card bases are DCWV Box of Cards. The printed paper is BasicGrey Out of Print. The sentiments are Bonnidee French Greetings #2.

The image, Gina K Spring Blooms, is layered on a piece of Stampin' Up Whisper White which was stamped with Hero Arts La Lettre in Pink Pirouette. It is painted with Sweet Alfalfa, Playful Peony and Fuzzy Peach LuminArte Twinkling H2Os. The embellishments are Recollections.

The image, Stampin' Up Medallion, is stamped in Soft Suede on Whisper White. It is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.

I love both of these cards. This particular sheet of BasicGrey is very versatile as it coordinates wonderfully with some great colours. It was a bit of a challenge to find French sentiments, but I'm pretty pleased with the sets that I've borrowed. It was fun to do something a little different.

I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

Congratulations

Hello everyone,

Today's card is a 180 from my recent Christmas card project. It is for a friend who has a colleague who is retiring. Such a happy event calls for a really cheerful card.

The printed paper is all BasicGrey Lemonade. The image Hero Arts Tall Flower is stamped in StazOn Olive Green on watercolour paper and painted with a variety of LuminArte Twinkling H2Os. The setniment is Waltzingmouse Say It With Style, stamped in Stampin' Up Melon Mambo on Whisper White. The embellishments are a mix of Close To My Heart Pearl Opaques and Recollections Rhinestone Stickers.

I just love this card. It is so bright and cheerful. It is getting chilly and blustery outside and this card is so wonderfully happy. The last card I made for this friend's friend was a flowery and happy sympathy card, and I understand it suited her perfectly. I hope this card works just as well.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

One Sheet Wonder 17

Hello everyone,

Finally, the last card in my one sheet wonder non-traditional Christmas charity card project. I used virtually all of the 12X12 sheet of paper with less than one square inch left, not one more card could be crafted.

The patterned paper is Close To My Heart Wonderland - Let It Snow. The card base is Stampin' Up Blue Bayou. The image is Inkadinkado Winter Trails heat embossed with Stampendous Sapphire Pearl Lustre embossing powder. The patterned paper is layered on a strip of Whisper White textured with Sizzix Snowflake Border embossing folder. The entire vertical element is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen. The sentiment is Little Yellow Bicycle Christmas Magic also heat embossed with Stampendous Sapphire Pearl Lustre embossing powder. The embellishments are Recollections white Glitter Adhesive Dots.

I was almost running out of mojo by the time I got to this card but it turned out beautifully. I didn't expect the dark blue heat embossing to work with the colours I've been using in these cards but I think it turned out well as it may not otherwise have been so visible.

I hope you've enjoyed this and all my earlier one sheet wonder card projects. This type of project is excellent value for both time and money. It is a lot of fun besides. I'm confident that as a fundraiser, we'll be successful.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Gisèle

PS - I'd like to say I'm one sheet wondered out but I'm hoping to have a class for one of my neighbors and her friends. I'll have to do a couple of samples before hand so I'll likely be posting them at some point. I'm cleaning up my desk first though! Stay tuned!

One Sheet Wonder 15 & 16

Hello everyone,

Today I'm posting cards fifteen and sixteen of my non-traditional Christmas one sheet wonder charity card project.

The patterned paper is Close To My Heart Wonderland - Let It Snow. The seventeen card bases are a mix of Close To My Heart Grey Flannel, Crystal Blue or Twilight. Additional card bases are DCWV Textured Jeweled; Stampin' Up Blue Bayou, Shimmery White or Whisper White; or Recollections.

The strips are comprised of Canford Silver, Twilight, Crystal Blue, Wonderland - Let It Snow, and brushed silver and shimmery white of unknown origin. The Crystal Blue and shimmery white strips are textured with Sizzix Snow Flurries dry embossing folder. The sentiment is Rubber Soul Wordsworth Script Merry Christmas stamped in Nick Bantock Charcoal Grey on Whisper White and layered on Cyrstal Blue, Twilight and Canford silver. The embellishments are Recollections Adhesive Rhinestones.

The patterned paper is layered on Canford silver. The image, Inkadinkado Holiday Sentiments, is stamped on Whisper White in Taken With Teal, heat embossed with Close To My Heart Silver Pearl and layered on more Canford silver. The embellishments are Recollections Rhinestone Stickers.

These are my favourite of the scrap cards. I just love the vertical strips. In hindsight, I maybe should have had them at the top of the card and they would have looked like icicles. I didn't think of it until one of my cardmaking friends mentionned it. I'll have to save that idea for another time. I love how well the snowman heat embossed. I don't think I've used this stamp before and I wasn't sure how well the fine lines would emboss, I needn't have worried.

I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

One Sheet Wonder 13 & 14

Hello everyone,

The remaining cards of this one sheet wonder series are all crafted using leftover pieces from the first twelve cards. I particularly like these cards because the small pieces lend to some really interesting and creative cards. In other words, the creative mojo was flowing. Today I'm posting cards eleven and twelve.

The patterned paper is layered on Canford silver textured with Cuttlebug's Winter Wonderland dry embossing folder and Twilight. The sentiment is My Favorite Things Merry & Bright stamped in Baja Breeze. The embellishments are Recollections white Glitter Adhesive Dots.

The patterned paper pieces are layered on Whisper White and affixed to a strip of Canford silver that was scored with a Scor-Pal. The sentiment is Hero Arts Peace & Joy stamped in ColorBox silver and heat embossed with Close To My Heart Silver Pearl embossing powder. The embellishments are Making Memories.

These are two great cards! Made entirely of scraps! Just goes to show that tiny pieces of great patterned paper can be turned into something really beautiful.

I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

With Sympathy

Hello everyone,

Today is Remembrance Day so I'm postponing the Christmas one sheet wonder cards for today and instead am posting a sympathy card. It is for one of my husband's colleagues whose mother recently passed away.

The solid papers are Close To My Heart Chocolate and Hollyhock and Canford gold. The image is Hero Arts Dots Flourish Border painted with a variety of LuminArte Twinkling H2Os. The sentiment is Verve Forever In Our Hearts stamped in Nick Bantock Van Dyke Brown on Stampin' Up Very Vanilla. The embellishments are EK Success Shimmering Gold Dots.

This is most certainly not a traditional sympathy card. I do love the colour combination however, and though I didn't originally intend to use this image on a sympathy card, I think it works.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Hello everyone,

Today it's one sheet wonder cards eleven and twelve in my charity card project.

The card base was stamped with Impression Obsession Cover-A-Card Snowflakes. The sentiment is Cornish Heritage Farms Christmas Expressions stamped in Baja Breeze. The embellishments are Recollections Adhesive Rhinestones.

The background paper is a shimmery white of unknown origin which was textured with Sizzix Snowflakes dry embossing folder. Random snowflakes were painted with LuminArte Stargazer and Summer Breeze Twinkling H2Os. The sentiment is PaperTrey Ink Signature Christmas stamped in Nick Bantock Charcoal Grey on Whisper White. The snowflake elements were cut with a Martha Stewart snowflake punch from Recollections, Crystal Blue and brushed silver paper of unknown origin. The embellishments are Recollections Faux Pearls.

I love the randomness of the background snowflakes on both of these cards. A little bit of sparkly bling and some more sophisticated pearls makes these cards special.

I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

One Sheet Wonder 9 & 10

Hello everyone,

Cards nine and ten are being posted today.

Select snowflakes on the patterned paper are painted with LuminArte Icicles Twinkling H2Os. The first two horizontal strips are white DCWV Textured Jewel cardstock also painted with LuminArte Icicles Twinkling H2Os. The sentiment is Cornish Heritage Farms Vintage Christmas Expressions stamped in ColorBox Silver on Whisper White and layered on brushed silver of unknown origin and Close To My Heart Twilight. The embellishments are Recollections Silver Rhinestone stickers.

The printed paper, highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen, is layered on Whisper White and Canford Silver. The sentiment is Annabelle Stamps Holly Branch stamped in Baja Breeze on Whisper White and outlined with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen. The embellishments are EK Success Shimmering Silver Dots.

I love both of these cards. It is amazing to me how using the same paper and similar colours can lead to such very different but equally beautiful cards.

I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

One Sheet Wonder 7 & 8

Hello everyone,

I hope you're not yet tired of this project as I'm posting cards seven and eight today and there are still nine more cards to post.

The patterned paper is layered on a shimmery white of unknown origin and Recollections, and is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen. The snowflake is Spellbinders Shapeabilities Create-A-Flake Three cut from a piece of Whisper White that was glittered with DecoArt Glamour Dust. The sentiment is Bonnidee Xmas Wording 3 stamped in Nick Bantock Charcoal Grey on Whisper White. The embellishments are Recollections Rhinestone Stickers.

The background paper is Stampin' Up Blue Bayou textured with Cuttlebug's Winter Wonderland dry embossing folder and painted with LuminArte Stargazer Twinkling H2Os. The snowflakes are a mix of Spellbinders Shapeabilities Create-A-Flake One, Two and Three, and Martha Stewart Snowflake punch, which were cut from Whisper White that was glittered with Glitter Ritz Cool Transparent microfine glitter. The sentiment is Close To My Heart Christmas Scripts. The embellishments are Close To My Heart Bitty Sparkles and Blue/Green Sparkles.

I think these are two really wonderful Christmas cards. I just love the glittery snowflakes which are super easy to create. Of course, you had to expect that I would break out the Twinkling H2Os at some point. I'm really pleased with the tone on tone of the blues.

I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

One Sheet Wonder 5 & 6

Hello everyone,

I have the non-traditional Christmas one sheet wonder cards five and six for you today.

The bottom layer is Recollections dry embossed with Sizzix Northern Fleury and spritzed with Vanilla Smooch Spritz. The sentiment is Stampin' Up Curly Cute stamped on Whisper White and layered on Crystal Blue. The focal element is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen. The embellishments are Close To My Heart Sparkles.

The patterned paper is layered on Whisper White and brushed silver of unknown origin. The image is Rubber Stampede Santa Collage stamped in Bermuda Bay on Whisper White, glittered with Glitter Ritz Cool Transparent microfine glitter and layered on Twilight. The sentiment is Stampavie Tina Wenke Holiday Wishes stamped in Nick Bantock Charcoal Grey on Whisper White and layered on brushed silver. The embellishments are Close To My Heart Bitty Sparkles.

The first card is not my most favourite ever. I like the colours but the layout seems off and there just isn't 'enough' on it. Maybe more bling? More sparkle? Ribbon? I think the second card may be one of the most beautiful cards I've ever crafted. I love absolutely everything about it! If I had to mass produce a card, this one would be it!

I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

One Sheet Wonder 1 & 2

Hello everyone,

The next ten days or so I'm going to be posting the last one sheet wonder charity card project. This series is all about non-traditional Christmas cards. I actually managed to craft seventeen cards from one sheet of 12X12 paper and I have to say, I'm really pleased with the results.

The patterned paper is layered on Recollections and Close To My Heart Twilight. The sentiment is My Favorite Things Merry & Bright. The ribbon is Michael's Celebrate It. The embellishments are Close To My Heart Clear Sparkles.

The patterned paper is layered on white DCWV Textured Jeweled cardstock and is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen. The sentiment is from the Stamp Barn and is heat embossed with Stampendous Marcasite Opaque embossing powder. The embellishments are TPC Studio Wedding Silhouette Mini Jewels.

These are two super simple cards. The titches of glitter and bling are perfect for holiday cards. I'm loving the non-traditional colours.

I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

One Sheet Wonder 13 & 14

Hello everyone,

I have the last two cards, thirteen and fourteen, in the traditional Christmas One Sheet Wonder charity cardmaking project.

The paper is Close To My Heart - Colonial White, Cranberry, New England Ivy and Mistletoe. There is also two different types of textured Bazzill card stock. Some Stampin' Up Very Vanilla has also been thrown into the mix.

The background paper is textured with Crafts Concepts Merry Christmas embossing folder highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen. The embellishments are Creative Impressions Metallic Mini Rounds.

The sentiment is Close To My Heart Christmas Love stamped in Nick Bantock Vermillion Lacquer. The elements are highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.

I've loved each and every card in this series. I know part of it is the paper, all that holly, but I also love the simplicity of the all the layouts. Keeping everything simple, including the embellishments makes these cards really wonderful. They'll be perfect for this card sale.

I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

These should be the last two cards in this One Sheet Wonder series however, I had enough little scraps of the printed paper to craft two more cards. They are just as lovely as these two.

I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

Isn't this a great series of cards? I love the paper, the layouts and the little bits of sparkle. It's no wonder my mojo is flowing for the non-traditional Christmas card series.

I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

One Sheet Wonder 7 & 8

Hello everyone,

Today cards seven and eight in the traditional Christmas One Sheet Wonder charity cardmaking project are being posted.

The paper is Close To My Heart - Colonial White, Cranberry, New England Ivy and Mistletoe. There is also two different types of textured Bazzill card stock. Some Stampin' Up Very Vanilla has also been thrown into the mix.

The focal element is Marianne Creatables LR0182 which is affixed to the card with a Making Memories Mistletoe brad. The sentiment is Stampavie Tina Wenke Holiday Wishes stamped in Nick Bantock Vermillion Lacquer.

The vertical element is layered on Stampin' Up textured Soft Suede. The sentiment is My Sentiments Exactly Holiday Sentiments. The brads are of unknown origin. The entire card is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.

Another couple of Christmas cards which I really love. I'm half hoping all of the cards don't sell because I know I'll use them for my own Christmas cards.

I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.
