Feeling Floral

Hello everyone,

Today's post is for another card that's going into my stash.

The printed paper is of unknown origin layered on Close To My Heart Outdoor Denim.  The images are Stampin' Up Bordering On Romance stamped in Outdoor Denim on Recollections Vanilla.  The images were clear heat embossed, coloured with pastels and covered with Close To My Heart Liquid Glass.  The sentiment is Gina K Fanciful Tags stamped in Outdoor Denim.  The ribbon is Craftsmart.

This Liquid Glass technique is a favourite even though I don't do it all that often.  I love the depth it gives an image.  The pastels (chalks really) were the best option for coordinating with this beautiful background paper.  I sure wish I remember where it came from.  I seem to really be into adding ribbon at the moment.  A good thing given the amount of ribbon I've got.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Swallowtail Congratulations

Hello everyone,

Today's post is the card I intended for yesterday.  It was stamped perfectly this second time around.

The image is Stampin' Up Swallowtail stamped in Close To My Heart Slate and Stampin' Up Illuminate inks.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up Curly Cute also stamped in Slate ink and highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.

I was so happy with this impression, I decided not to add to much else on the off chance I messed it up.  Oh the tension that comes with using such a large stamp.  The Illuminate ink adds just a hint of shimmer to the image and was pretty easy to use as it doesn't have to be a perfect impression.  I had to round the bottom corners of the card because one of them ended up in an ink pad.  All in all, this disaster card turned out pretty darn good!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Swallowtail Fix

Hello everyone,

Today's card fixes a bad stamping job.

The image is Stampin' Up Swallowtail stamped with Close To My Heart Slate ink on Recollections Vanilla.  The sentiment is Verve Happy Thoughts stamped in Early Espresso.  The embellishments are Close To My Heart Pearl Opaques.

This goof couldn't have turned out better!  The card I planned, which I redid for tomorrow's post, was badly stamped and I just couldn't cover it up.  Instead of throwing the card in the garbage, I decided to cut out the image and pop it up onto another card base!  It so worked!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

So Sorry

Hello everyone,

I go through more sympathy cards than any other so this card was crafted to augment my stash.

The printed paper is K&Co Brenda Walton layered on Stampin' Up Going Grey that was trimmed with a Stampin' Up Edgelits die.  The image is Hero Arts French Writing with Butterfly stamped in Close To My Heart Slate ink on Very Vanilla and highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.  The sentiment is Gina K Fanciful Tage also stamped in Slate on Very Vanilla.  The ribbon is Michael's Special Value.  The embellishments are Prima Say It With Pearls.

This card took forever to come together.  I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted to do so it seemed haphazard from the get go.  I'm not certain if I did the right thing with all the embellishments.  I feel I should have kept going by adding them to all the curves on the edge.  This pearls are actually a shape that I've cut apart in order to use the individual pearls.  They are very, very tiny, making them hard to use but work so well with the colours in the card, it was worth the effort.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Tulip Bouquet

Hello everyone,

Spring feels like it has finally arrived!

The printed paper is Prima Sew Cute layered on textured Stampin' Up Old Olive and Bermuda Bay.  The images are Stampin' Up Blessed Easter stamped in Close To My Heart Whisper ink on Very Vanilla and painted with LuminArte Sea Glass, Lemongrass, Fuzzy Peach, Persimmon and Mango Mamba Twinkling H2Os.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up Express Yourself stamped in StazOn Olive Green.  The embellishments are Doodlebug Boy Assortment mini pearls.

This Prima paper is really lovely but a bit of a challenge to incorporate into a card.  The stitching has a tendency to unravel where the paper is cut.  That said, it works perfectly with these beautiful painted tulips.  I am so ready to see my tulips blooming!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Circles of Thanks

Hello everyone,

Today's card is another to replenish my stash.

The printed papers are Stampin' Up Elegant Soiree.  The sentiment is Penny Black Thanks, Thanks stamped in Basic Grey on Very Vanilla and layered on more elegant Soiree.

This is one of my very, very favourite Stampin' Up designer papers.  I even purchased a second package before it was discontinued.  I really wanted to craft a card that was as neutral as possible and this paper made it so very easy as this card would work wonderfully for either a man or a woman.  With all the patterns coordinating so beautifully this card was so quick and easy.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Bold Butterflies

Hello everyone,

Today's card is another case from Pinterest that I've been dying to try.  It didn't quite work as intended but I'm very pleased with the results none-the-less.

The printed paper is Stampin' Up Cheerful Treat whose bottom edge was punched with a Retro Flower border punch.  The butterflies were cut from Pink Pirouette, Concord Crush and Lucky Limeade with an EK Success Butterfly punch.  The sentiment is Hero Arts Thoughtful Messages stamped in Elegant Eggplant on Whisper White.  The embellishments are Queen & Co Iridescent Rhinestones.

This card is so very bright and cheerful that I just can't help but be pleased with it even though the results are not exactly what I intended.  The top of the butterflies are suppose to form a border with the punched piece affixed separately to the bottom of the card.  I'll have to try again.  I almost used a birthday greeting but I've so many female birthday cards in my stash I really didn't need another.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Congratulations Man

Hello everyone,

Today's card is a great masculine congratulations card.

The printed paper is Stampin' Up International Bazaar layered on Chocolate Chip.  The vertical elements are more Chocolate Chip and Lucky Limeade.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up Express Yourself stamped in Chocolate Chip on Whisper White.  The embellishment is Michael's metal studs.

This card couldn't be quicker or easier.  Except for the bottom layers, it used up a few of those pesky scraps from the bin.  I've had an idea for another similar card that uses more than just three colours.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Mosaic Birthday

Hello everyone,

Given as I spoke of any occasion cards yesterday, you'd think I'd have repeated today.  No, I got drawn in by mosaic stamps and paper.

The printed paper is Stampin' Up International Bazaar.  The image is Mosaic Madness stamped in Pacific Point ink on Soft Sky.  The sentiment is Simply Sketched also stamped in Pacific Point on Whisper White and layered on more Soft Sky.  The embellishments are TPC Studio Heartfelt Travel mini jewels.

I was totally inspired by similar cards that have been circulating around Pinterest.  I wouldn't say I'm totally pleased with this one.  I don't hate it but I goofed on the Soft Sky, it should have been Pool Party, and I'm pissed at myself.  What was I doing!  I'd like to place with this some more to see what else I could come up with because this is a pretty cool stamp set.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

For You

Hello everyone,

I've got all my commissions and gifts finished so I'm going back to my list of what I need to replenish in my stash.

The printed paper is Stampin' Up Comfort Cafe layered on Soft Suede.  The image is Stampin' Up Just Believe stamped in Cajun Craze on Very Vanilla and layered on more Cajun Craze.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up Vintage Labels also stamped in Cajun Craze on Very Vanilla.  The embellishments are Close To My Heart Bitty Pearl Opaques.

One of the things I've noticed missing is my card stash are cards that could really be used for any occasion.  This is one of those cards that could be used for anything.  I love how the Cajun Craze pops against the printed paper.  I could easily repeat this exact card using Soft Suede ink as well.  This is one of those Stampin' Up cards that come together so easily.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Jolly Shimmering Holly

Hello everyone,

This is the last of the Christmas cards I've crafted for the hostess gift for my daughter's upcoming student exchange.

The printed paper is Little Yellow Bicycle Making Merry layered on Stampin' Up Basic Black.  The image is Stamp Oasis stamped in StazOn Jet Black on Recollections and painted with LuminArte Ruby Red and Emerald Twinkling H2Os.  The sentiment is Taylored Expressions Big Bold Christmas stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Recollections, painted with more Ruby Red and Emerald Twinkling H2Os, and layered on more Basic Black.  The ribbon is Michael's Special Value.  The embellishments are Teresa Collins Fabrications.

This is a stamp I recently acquired.  It appealed because I figured it would be easy to colour and it certainly was!  I couldn't craft a set of Christmas cards without including at least one with holly.  I choose this sentiment because it had that little sprig of holly that coordinated with the image.  I so liked yesterday's card with the black that I just had to do another.  It all came together so well with this lovely plaid paper!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Modern Santa

Hello everyone,

Today is one of my favourite cards in this particular Christmas series.

The printed paper is Teresa Collins Christmas Home layered on Stampin' Up Basic Black.  The image is Delta Rubber Stampede Santa Collage stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Whisper White and layered on Basic Black and Cherry Cobbler.  The sentiment is Bonnidee Layering Trees stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  The embellishments are Teresa Collins Fabrications.

Every time I use this stamp, I fall in love with it a little more.  It was a really great find!  I don't usually use black on Christmas cards but it really does work well especially with the pop of Cherry Cobbler.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Bowtiful Gift

Hello everyone,

Today's Christmas card use up a few bits and pieces I've had in my stash.

The printed paper is American Crafts Jolly layered on Stampin' Up Wild Wasabi.  The image/sentiment is DeNami Design stamped in Wild Wasabi on Whisper White, layered on more Wild Wasabi and highlighted with a red Sakura Gelly Roll pen.  The ribbon is Offray.  The embellishments are of unknown origin.

I love this jaunty little brown bow!  This is also a wonderful sentiment, combining both the sentiment and an image is brilliant.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Gifting Card

Hello everyone,

I've another very quick and easy Christmas card for you today.

The printed papers are Martha Stewart Frosty Elegance.  The sentiment is Stampendous Merriest Wish stamped in Stampin' Up Basic Grey and highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.  The embellishment is Jolee's All That Bling Red Studs.

Like yesterday's card, this was so very quick and easy.  I stamped the sentiment directly on the printed paper, added a red stud and some glittering ink and that was that.  A very lovely card notwithstanding that Martha Stewart mint green!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Thinking of Christmas

Hello everyone,

I have another Christmas card for you today.

The printed paper is Martha Stewart Snowflace layered on a silver paper of unknown origin.  The sentiment is Rubbernecker stamped in Stampin' Up Basic Grey and highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.  The embellishments are Recollections Glitter Adhesive Dots.

This has to be one of the easiest Christmas cards ever!  A great background paper, a wonderful sentiment and a bit of bling.  I love the quality of the Martha Stewart papers but the colours can be a challenge.  There is not a lot that you can do with this minty green.  Issue solved however if you keep it as simple as this.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Golden Ornaments

Hello everyone,

We've not met the family who will be hosting my daughter.  I've no idea about likes or dislikes so I'm trying to craft a wide variety of cards that will be appealing to just about anyone.  We're in big trouble if they don't celebrate Christmas!

The printed papers are Kaisercraft Christmas Carol.  The image is Stampin' Up Merry & Type heat embossed with Stampendous Opaque Detail Gold.  The sentiment is Penny Black Merry Xmas stamped in Always Artichoke.  The embellishments are Mark Richards 3mm gold metal.

I love this simple and vertical card.  I love this ornament stamp but it didn't heat emboss as well as I would have liked.  I have a couple of different gold embossing powders to choose from and I wanted one that looked somewhat aged.  I think the problem was with the Versamark as opposed to the actually embossing.  Notwithstanding that little goof, it is still a great Christmas card.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas Poinsettias

Hello everyone,

I'm beyond thrilled to be crafting Christmas cards.  They really are my favourite type of card to craft.  The next seven cards are part of set that I'm crafting for my daughter to give as a hostess gift on an upcoming student exchange.

The printed papers are Kaisercraft Christmas Carol layered on Stampin' Up Ruby Red.  The images are Stampin' Up Watercolor Winter stamped in Always Artichoke, Ruby Red and Soft Suede on Very Vanilla.  The sentiment is Verve O Christmas Tree.  The embellishments are ZVA Creative.

I really love this two-step stamp set.  I wasn't over fond of poinsettia stamps until I tried this stamp and now I can't get enough.  I've so missed crafting Christmas cards it was hard to just slow down and focus because I couldn't decide where I wanted to start.  This is great printed paper.  The poinsettia sheet has a slight sheen to it which you can't see in this photo.  It is just lovely!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Swinging Sentiment

Hello everyone,

Today's card is one more for my daughter's hostess gift.  I'm crafting two sets of seven cards in acrylic boxes.  This is the last of the all occasion cards.  The next set is all Christmas!

The printed paper is Close To My Heart Miracle layered on Colonial White and Crystal Blue.  The background images are Stampin' Up Too Kind stamped in Close To My Heart Sweet Leaf and Stampin' Up Marina Mist.  The sentiment is also Stampin' Up Too Kind stamped in Sweet Leaf on Colonial White.  The ribbon is Michael's.  The embellishments are Doodlebug Boy Assortment mini pearls.

I've done a couple of cards like this before.  The sentiment tag is tied to the horizontal ribbon and is loose.  In hindsight, I think a second ribbon on the horizontal would have added even more interest but this still works quite well.  I originally intended to use more creamy pearls but I've quite a few coloured pearls in my stash that need to be used up.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

On The Water

Hello everyone,

Today's card was commissioned for a colleague who is heading on to another post.

The images are Gina K Follow Your Dreams and Stampin' Up Wetlands stamped in Early Espresso on Whisper White that was painted with Rebhan watercolour paints.  The background is Whisper White textured with Cuttlebug Fleur De Lis embossing folder, layered on Brilliant Blue and highlighted with Royal Blue Liquid Pearls.  The sentiment is Bonnidee French Wording #1 stamped in Color Box ink and heat embossed.

The friend who commissioned this card was very specific.  She knows what she likes and what she wants.  I've learned to be open to when someone is commissioning a card.  At first blush, it may sound overly challenging but it always seems to come together.  I think this card turned out beautifully.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

With Sympathy

Hello everyone,

Today's card is for a girlfriend whose grandmother recently passed away.

The printed paper is Momenta Patty Young Designs.  The image is Stampin' Up Faith In Nature stamped in Close To My Heart Whisper ink on Very Vanilla and layered on K&Company Julianne.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up Warmest Regards stamped in Basic Grey on Very Vanilla.  The embellishment is Kaisercraft Magical Butterflies Wooden Flourishes.

I really love this card.  This is one of my favourite stamp sets.  It is so versatile.  The wooden butterfly, which is just cool, pops wonderfully against the natural background.  The photo really doesn't do justice to this beautiful card.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Sea Shell Spectacular

Hello everyone,

Today's card is another for the gift for my daughter's student exchange hosts.

The printed paper is My Mind's Eye Vanity Fair and K&Company Jubilee which are layered on Stampin' Up Crumb Cake.  The images are Stampin' Up Sea Side stamped in Soft Suede on Whisper White and painted with LuminArte Coral Berry, Deep Coral, Pearl Red, Buttercup, Mustard Green and Golden Opal Twinkling H2Os.  The sentiment is Rubbernecker Happy Birthday.

Goodness this card is amazing if I do say so myself!  I've had these images in my stash for eons after I borrowed the set from a friend.  I always envisioned painting them with Twinkling H2Os and they turned out even better than I pictured.  I so love it when that happens.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Another Vintage Butterfly

Hello everyone,

This card uses the second half of the paper I used yesterday.  I'm going to add it to the hostess gift for my daughter's Newfoundland band exchange.

The printed paper is Momenta layered on Close To My Heart Garden Green.  The focal layer is Stampin' Up Bravo Burgundy textured with Darice Butterflies In Corner embossing folder and highlighted with LuminArte Spiced Pumpkin Twinkling H2Os.  The butterfly is a Spellbinders Les Papillions Shapeabilities die cut from a scrap of Ranger alcohol inked glossy paper.  The sentiment is Rubberneckers Best Wishes stamped in Always Artichoke on Very Vanilla.  The ribbon is Crafts.

Isn't this paper incredible!  Two fantastically beautiful halves.  I'm obviously really fond of this paper and I can't wait to see what else I can craft with it.  I thought I may have used a few too many elements but they all work together so well that it works.  I'll have to try a really minimal card to see what happens.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Vintage Butterfly

Hello everyone,

Today's card is for another girlfriend.  She appreciates anything handcrafted.

The printed paper is Momenta layered on Close To My Heart Garden Green and Garnet.  The image is Heartfelt Creations Butterfly Medley, stamped in Stampin' Up Crumb Cake on Very Vanilla, coloured with Faber-Castell watercolor pencil crayons and layered on more Crumb Cake.  The butterfly is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.  The sentiment is Rubbernecker Happy Birthday stamped in Early Espresso.  The embellishments are Close To My Heart Mocha Opaques.

I can't remember where I found this Momenta 6X6 paper pad but it is awesome!  It is full of these wonderful vintage botanical sheets that are going to craft some really beautiful cards.  The watercolour crayons were a bit of a challenge as I was either too we,t or too dark, or too outside the lines.  Arrrrrggggghhhhh!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Pretty Pansies

Hello everyone,

Today's card is for my girlfriend's birthday.  She loves pansies and this was the perfect excuse for trying these butterfly punch flowers.

The background paper is Autumn Leaves Emily textured with Darice Flower embossing folder and highlighted with Tattered Angels Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist.  The flowers are textured DCWV, highlighted with Y&C Gold Gel Xtreme and Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.  The brads are of unknown origin.  The horizontal strip is more textured DCWV punched with EK Success Bangle Chain Trim.  The sentiment is Close To My Heart Joyful Birthday stamped in Stampin' Up Elegant Eggplant on Whisper White.

I've always thought these butterfly punched pansies are really sweet.  Best of all they are so easy!  I love the purple and yellow combination which always speaks pansies to me.  I think my girlfriend will love this card.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Watercolour Wheat

Hello everyone,

Another card for my daughter's hostess gift.

The printed paper is Close To My Heart Olivia.  The image is Woodware Wheat stamped in StazOn Timber Brown on watercolour paper that was painted with Stampin' Up watercolour crayons.  The image is layered on Stampin' Up textured Early Espresso and Close To My Heart Barn Red.  The sentiment is Rubbernecker Happy Birthday stamped in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla.  The embellishments are of unknown origin.

I have a tendency to do multiples of a technique at one time.  It's how I play.  This watercolour crayon technique is no different.  I had everything out already so may as well make the most of it.  I picked up a couple of these intricate Woodware stamps a little while ago and they are wonderful.  They worked particularly well in this application.  I can't wait to see what else I can come up with.

I think this card would be another great masculine card.  I'll have to craft some pretty fancy and frilly feminine cards next.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Sensational Swallowtail

Hello everyone,

I knew when I bought this stamp that I would craft some pretty awesome cards, I didn't realize just how beautiful they would be and it amazes me!

The printed paper is K&Company SW Nature layered on Close To My Heart Twilight and Stampin' Up Whisper White.  The image is Stampin' Up Swallowtail heat embossed with with embossing powder.  The sentiment is Rubbernecker Happy Birthday stamped in Twilight ink and highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.  The ribbon is Michael's Celebrate It.

I basically cased tonight's card from this card by my Stampin' Up rep, Cynthia.  I love, love, love this card!  This stamp is utterly beautiful and though somewhat challenging to use, it's absolutely worth the aggravation.  I've found that using my Fiskars stamp press really helps get a better impression with any large stamp.  Like the stamp positioner, once you get into the swing of using the stamp press, you wonder how you lived without it.  I've also applied Stampin' Up 2-way glue to my Stampin' Up clear mount stamps as it helps them stay stuck on my acrylic blocks.  There is nothing worse than having an inked stamp fall off the block just as you're about to put it to paper.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Green Seeds

Hello everyone,

Today's card is another for my daughter's hostess gift.

The printed paper is Close To My Heart Wings.  The image is Woodware Going to Seed stamped in Close To My Heart Whisper ink on watercolour paper that was painted with Stampin' Up watercolour crayons and layered on K&Company Julianne.  The image element was layered on Stampin' Up Very Vanilla that was stamped with Heartfelt Creations Large Elegant Word Background stamp in Close To My Heart Sweet Leaf ink.  The sentiment element is Stampin' Up Four Frames and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamped in Very Vanilla with Whisper ink.  The embellishments are ZVA Creative.  The ribbon is Crafts.

I just kept finding bits and pieces that all worked together on this card.  This Close To My Heart Whisper ink is a really green grey and it seems to go with just about everything.  A fantastic neutral coloured ink if you're looking for something besides black or brown.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Seascape Wishes

Hello everyone,

My daughter is going on a high school band exchange and I'm crafting a set of cards for a hostess gift for her host family.

The image is Stampin' Up Wetlands stamped in Timber Brown StazOn on a piece of watercolour paper that was coloured with Stampin' Up watercolour crayons.  The image is layered on K&Company Julianne, SW Nature, Close To My Heart Outdoor Denim, and a Close To My Heart of unknown design.  The sentiment is Rubbernecker Happy Birthday stamped in Outdoor Denim on Very Vanilla.

I figured this would be a great masculine birthday.  I'm still experimenting with colouring and I have to say my best results to date are with the watercolour crayons.  I've had this card on my mind ever since I received this stamp set.  There are some really fabulous cards with this set on Pinterest so inspiration was not hard to find.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Perfectly Patterned

Hello everyone,

Today's card is another sympathy card for my stash.

The printed papers are Close To My Heart Olivia.  The image is Stampin' Up Simply Sketched stamped in Close To My Heart Whisper on Whisper White and coloured with Stampin' Up Watercolor crayons.  The sentiment is Close To My Heart Sincere Expressions stamped in Desert Sand.  The embellishments are K&Company SW Nature Butterfly stickers.

I hadn't originally intended to add stickers to this card but once I had all the elements put together, it needed just that extra little something.  These stickers just couldn't work any better.  They coordinate perfectly with the Olivia paper.  I've recently started using multiple patterned papers on my cards instead of a print and a solid.  This particular Olivia design is perfect because it contains a watermarked solid along with a multicolored print that work wonderfully together.  It's also helping going through the incredible stash of papers that I guiltily enjoy.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Pretty Poppy

Hello everyone,

Today's card will help replenish the stash I keep at the office.

The printed paper is DCWV Floral Prints layered on Close To My Heart Garden Green.  The image is Stampin' Up Simply Sketched stamped in Close To My Heart Whisper ink on Whisper White and coloured with Stampin' Up Watercolor crayons.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up Teeny Tiny Wishes.  The focal element is layered on more DCWV Floral Prints and Close To My Heart Vineyard Berry.  The ribbon is Daisy Bucket Designs.  The embellishments are Want 2 Scrap Say It With Pearls.

I love this sympathy card.  Everything just seems to compliment the next.  I've had this ribbon in my stash for a while but just hadn't found the chance to use it.  I'm not disappointed.  It is a paper ribbon which made it very easy to use.  While predominantly red, it has fine threads of many different colours which will make it versatile.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Wonderful Wedding

Hello everyone,

Today's card was commissioned by my sister-in-law who asked for a money-holder wedding card in aqua with flowers.

The printed paper is Craft N Craftin' Best Creation Inc. Basic Glitter paper.  The vertical element is Stampin' Up Bermuda Bay textured with Craft Concepts Butterfly Kisses embossing folder and highlighted with LuminArte Mediterranean Blue Twinkling H2Os.  The sentiment is Fiskars Just Married Quoted stamped in Bermuda Bay on Whisper White and layered on more Bermuda Bay.  The embellishments are Martha Stewart Doily Lace Dimensional Flowers and Close To My Heart Bitty Opaques.

This card did not come together easily.  I've never done a money holder card and while it's not difficult, sizing it to fit into the envelop I had available was a challenge.  I also started with the base in Bermuda Bay which was nearly impossible.  This colour combination is sooooo much better.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.
