Rockin' Thanks V

Hello everyone,

Today's post is the last of the teacher thank you cards commissioned by a girlfriend for her kid's teachers.

The card base is Stampin' Up Soft Sky.  The printed paper is DCWV Rock Star layered on Close To My Heart Sweet Leaf and Chocolate.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up Double Take stamped in Altenew Turquoise and Stampin' Up Early Espresso on a white of unknown origin.  The embellishments are Stickah Decorative Stickers.

These great stickers make this card really fun!  Though I coordinated all the paper colours, I didn't have the perfect colour coordinated stickers and in the end, decided it wasn't an imperative.  I found this sheet of paper rather more sophisticated so the fun stickers lighten it all up a bit.  There's another skull in here but I hope the teacher won't notice!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Rockin' Thanks IV

Hello everyone,

Today's thank you card post is another great rock and roll card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Basic Grey.  The printed paper is DCWV Rock Star layered on a mirrored silver of unknown origin.  The sentiment is Altenew Thanks die cut from a white of unknown origin.

While yesterday's card was pretty simple, today's is even more so.  Great paper, a little shiny silver and a big bold sentiment.  In my opinions, one of the great thing about boys/men/masculine cards is that as long as you've got some great printed paper, you don't need to fuss all that much with complex layouts or fancy embellishments.  This card is wonderful and proves my point quite well.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Rockin' Thanks III

Hello everyone,

Today's post is another kid cool thank you card.

The card base is Close To My Heart Chocolate.  The printed paper is DCWV Rock Star layered on a mirrored silver of unknown origin.  The sentiment is Verve Thankful Accents stamped in Stampin' Up Early Espresso on Recollections Vanilla and layered on more mirrored silver.  The embellishments are of unknown origin.

This card has the simplest of layouts with a couple of layers and a straightforward circle layer for the sentiment.  I didn't do anything fancy because the background paper is so wonderful and already has some shine with the silver flourishes.  I probably didn't really need five embellishments on the sentiment but by the time I figured it out, the glue was already on the paper.  In hindsight, I wish I had cut out the sentiment in the shape of a guitar pick.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Rockin' Thanks II

Hello everyone,

Today's post is the second rock and roll inspired thank you card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Basic Grey.  The printed paper is DCWV Rock Star layered on a white of unknown origin.  The sentiment is Impression Obsession Vertical Greeting stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on a white of unknown origin.  The embellishments are Multicrafts.

I wasn't so sure a teacher would like the skull aspect of this card but the big guitar in the background should hopefully make up for it and besides, skulls are a pretty common graphic these days.  I do love the black/white/grey colour combination.  With the shiny silver studs, this is a pretty great result.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Rockin' Thanks

Hello everyone,

The next few posts are teacher thank you cards commissioned by a girlfriend.

The card base is a black Bazzill.  The printed paper is DCWV Rock Star.  The sentiment is Verve Celebration of Thanks stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on a white of unknown origin layered on shimmery copper and black of unknown origin.  The embellishments are from Fabricland.

My girlfriend's kids are all boys with the middle guy totally into KISS!  I couldn't resist crafting 'Rock Star' thank you cards for this year end.  Teachers totally rock and I'm sure the boys will really like giving their teachers these unique cards!  They were so much fun to craft!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Vintage Baby Girl II

Hello everyone,

Today's post is the second of two vintage baby girl cards that I crafted for a colleague.

The card base is Stampin' Up Barely Banana.  The images is from a recycled baby card, cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities and layered on Stampin' Up Pink Pirouette.  The image is layered on a white of unknown origin and more Pink Pirouette.  The white layer was textured with Couture Creations Entangle embossing folder.  The ribbon is Michael's Dashes, Dots and Checks.  The flower embellishment is of unknown origin highlighted with Fruit Punch Stickles.

I still have quite a few recycled card pieces to use so I knew I could find some great images for a baby girl card.  I made two cards so my colleague has some choice.  For this card, the sentiment is the same as yesterday (Bonnidée French Wording #1) but is stamped on the inside of the card.  The upper right of the image had some original writing but it was easily covered up with this cute ribbon.  I really love this card!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Vintage Baby Girl

Hello everyone,

Today's post is one of two French baby girl cards.

The card base is Stampin' Up Barely Banana.  The images are from a recycled baby card, cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities and layered on Recollections dark pink and Stampin' Up Pink Pirouette.  The images are layered on a Momenta card stock and a white of unknown origin. The sentiment is Bonnidée French Wording #1 stamped in Avery Elle New Moon.  The embellishments are Crafts.

One of my colleagues was so taken with the recycled baby cards I've crafted so far she requested a French baby girl card for her niece.  I forgot to ask her if she wanted a 'bright' card or a 'soft' card so I crafted two from which she can choose.  I've used this type of layout with a couple of my earlier vintage cards.  I really like it, especially with the scalloped circles.  I wanted a little more interest so I decided to add some printed paper and this piece of Momenta paper contacted all the colours within the images.  I thought placing the sentiment on an angle was a little different (especially for me) but I do like the final result.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Spring Thoughts

Hello everyone,

Today's card was crafted for my grandparents because they've been on my mind quite a lot recently.

The card base is Stampin' Up Perfect Plum.  The printed papers are Stamperia Lilac Flowers.  The image is Memory Box Tissue Flower stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Recollections grey and painted with LuminArte Sage and Wisteria Twinkling H2Os.  The image is layered on Perfect Plum.  The sentiment is a no name stamp stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Recollections Vanilla and layered on more Stamperia Lilac Flowers.  The card is highlighted with Platinum Liquid Pearls.

For the past couple of weeks, every time I turn around, I'm getting subtle reminders/memories of my grandparents in Nova Scotia.  I decided it was my mind's way of telling me to send a card.  I decided to use this beautiful lilac paper with lovely written images and this delicate flower because yesterday was such a beautiful spring day.  I really love the font of this stamp but it's no name for a reason - it's crooked on the block.  Thank goodness for the stamp positioner.  I highlighted with Liquid Pearls because it add great embellishment without any bulk.  The card goes in the mail today!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Delicate Sympathies

Hello everyone,

Today's post is another sympathy card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Marina Mist.  The images are Gina K Botanicals stamped in Altenew Sea Glass on Recollections White and Penny Black Delicate Florals stamped in Versafine Onyx Black and Altenew Ocean Waves.  The image panel is layered on Recollections Black.  The sentiment is also Gina K Botanicals stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Recollections White and layered on more Recollections Black.

This is my favourite in this series of the sympathy cards.  I just love the blue/black/white colour combination.  I thought it was inspired to stamp the card base with the floral even though you don't see all that much of it.  I used a sponge to colour the 'flowers', using the next darker colour of this set of Altenew inks than was used for the background image.  I didn't add any embellishments because I didn't really think the card needed anything more.  It's a really striking card but still absolutely appropriate for a sympathy card.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Iris Times Three

Hello everyone,

Today's post is another very spring-inspired sympathy card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Orchid Opulence.  The image is Gina K Garden Silhouettes stamped in Tombow 158 and 623 on Recollections White and layered on more Orchid Opulence and Recollections White.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up Teeny Tiny Wishes stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Recollections White.  The embellishments are Recollections Faux Pearls.

Obviously my Gina K stamps were close at hand for the past few days.  These are the perfect images for colouring with markers because they are simple and don't have an outline.  If I'm not mistaken, I've used this layout for Gina K images in the past.  What can I say, it works so very well!  I love the tiny sentiment.  It almost seems like an after thought except that it's been placed in the design sweet spot.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Brightly Green

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a bright 'thinking of you' card.

The card base is Close To My Heart Emerald.  The image and sentiment are Gina K Framed Greetings stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Recollections White and layered on Stampin' Up Orchid Opulence.  The image panel is cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Sixteen.  The image is painted with LuminArte Buttercup, English Lavender, Icy Iris, Moss Agate and Nutmeg Twinkling H2Os.  The card is highlighted with Peacock Liquid Pearls.

I came across this image when I found the sentiment from yesterday's card and didn't think I'd ever used it before.  I was probably scared of colouring the image.  I originally planned to place it on a rectangular Orchid Opulence card (see tomorrow's card) but this image really does need a square card base.  I do love the purple and green colour combination.  I used a few too many Liquid Pearls dots on this one - oops.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Spring Fresh

Hello everyone,

Today's post is the first of a few sympathy cards that I've crafted for the card box at the office.

The card base is Stampin' Up Pistachio Pudding.  The images are Stampin' Up Lots of Lavender stamped in Altenew Dark Chocolate, Deep Iris, Frayed Leaf, Lavender Fields and Rocky Shore on Recollections White.  The image panel is layered on Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip.  The sentiment is Gina K Framed Greeting stamped in Dark Chocolate.  The card is highlighted with Platinum Liquid Pearls.

As I was going through my stash recently, I realized that I have way too much Stampin' Up coloured card stock that is going to take a concentrated effort to use.  The best way is to start using it for card bases and I've already got a ton of envelops that need custom sized cards.  Kind of a 'duh' moment!  I got this stamp set when I placed my last order.  It's a multi-step stamp that is very easy to use.  I really love that it's got separate stamps for even the smallest elements.  I wanted to add some interest on the card base so I decided to stamps the leaves from the set.  I love the final result!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Blooming Beautiful II

Hello everyone,

Today's post is the last of the goodbye/good luck cards that I've been working on for the past week.

The image is Altenew Watercolor Wonders stamped in Altenew Citrus Burst, Forest Glades, Frayed Leaf, Maple Yellow, Sea Breeze, Starlight, Sunkissed, Tide Blue, Turquoise, Warm Sunshine, and Stampin' Up Wild Wasabi on Recollections White.  The images are cut with the coordinating die.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up Wild About Flowers stamped in Altenew Forest Glades.  The card is highlighted with White Opal Liquid Pearls.

This is the English version of yesterday's card.  While I love using the Altenew stamp and die sets, it's too much work to do elements for a single card so I often craft multiples when I've got everything already at hand.  Not only is this a very forgiving multi-step stamp but it also has a variety of flowers and leaves that are all very versatile.  I love the blue and yellow colour combination.  Twice in a row now I've managed to put on the right number of highlighting dots!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Blooming Beautiful

Hello everyone,

Today's post is another French good luck card.

The sentiment is Microsoft Word font layered on a piece of white inked with Turquoise.  The card is highlighted with White Opal Liquid Pearls.

I'm so ready for a spring that seems to being taking a long time arriving so I'm invoking it with some warm and cheerful cards.  I wanted to do something a little different than the last few cards so I put away the paper and pulled out the Altenew sets.  This particular set is really quite fun.  It's a multi-step stamp that is extremely forgiving.  I used dimensionals on the large flower, which already pack a great visual punch, to make it stand out even more.  I think this is the perfect amount, placement and size of Liquid Pearl dots - finally!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Soft And Sweet

Hello everyone,

Today's goodbye card post is soft and subtle.

The printed paper is Recess Sugarplum Paisleys Sparkle Slant layered on Recollections White and Close To My Heart Petal.  The horizontal border was cut with Martha Stewart Infinite Loops border punch from more Close To My Heart Petal.  The sentiment is Microsoft Word font layered on more Petal and white.  The card is highlighted with Diamond Stickles.

Anything paisley always appeals to me but I really wasn't sure about this paper.  The colours are not the greatest and I thought it would be a bit of a challenge to find coordinating colours.  It was actually pretty easy once I settle on this pretty purple which actually makes the other colours work just fine.  I also wanted to do a border that wasn't ribbon and figured this infinite loops border would work really well.  I especially like this border because it's really great for adding Stickles.  The paper also had wonderful bursts and flowers that were also fantastic for adding Stickles.  I was surprisingly pleased with the final result.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Cheery Goodbye

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a really happy goodbye card.

The printed paper is of unknown origin layered on Recollections Black and Close To My Heart Thistle.  The sentiment is a Microsoft Word font layered on Bazzill green and more Recollections Black.  The ribbon is American Crafts.  The card is highlighted with Star Dust Stickles.

I think this is such cheerful paper and it's perfect for a goodbye card.  I used black as a layer because I felt it would pop all the other colours and it really did the job. This is also a great paper for coordinating with a bunch of different colours as virtually anything would work.  It is also the perfect paper for adding Stickles.  A great result!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Flourished Goodbye

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a more sophisticated French goodbye card.

The printed paper is My Mind's Eye Coastal Comfort layered on Stampin' Up Really Rust and More Mustard.  The sentiment is Microsoft Word font layered on Recollections Vanilla and more Really Rust.  The image is Joy Craft Floral Flourishes 6003/0006 die cut from Close To My Heart Lagoon and highlighted with Wink of Stella Clear 999.

I've had this sheet of My Mind's Eye in my stash for years.  It's not the most pretty piece of paper but there is something about it which I find very appealing.  It's got some wonderful fall colours with slight hints of turquoise with glittered petals.  I wanted this card to be somewhat simple because the paper is pretty spectacular on its own.  Once I'd placed the sentiment however I felt it needed just a little something more so I decided to add this flourished butterfly.  I drew it's colour from the hints of turquoise in the flowers petals and it worked surprisingly well.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Sweet Spring

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a French goodbye card.

The printed paper is a Stampin' Up unknown designer series paper layered on Stampin' Up Mint Macaroon.  The sentiment is a Microsoft Word font layered on more Mint Macaroon.  The ribbon is of unknown origin.  The embellishment is a Stampin' Up Petal Passion metal flower.

I was gifted a number of sheets of Stampin' Up paper at a recent crop and for the life of me, I couldn't find out from which series it originated.  I originally thought I'd at least matched up the right In Colors but in hindsight I'm not so sure.  We're expecting some pretty crappy weather over the next few days so I was inspired to craft a spring inspired card and this paper fit the bill perfectly.  I didn't want to cover up the paper so I just used a simple ribbon and applied the sentiment like a tag.  I think it all works wonderfully!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Lucky Blues

Hello everyone,

Today's good luck card is all shades of blue.

The printed paper was crafted using the shaving cream technique and a variety of Stampin' Up and Nick Bantock re-inkers, and was layered on Recollections White and Stampin' Up Pacific Point.  The sentiment is Close To My Heart For Every Occasions stamped in Altenew Desert Night on Recollections White and is layered on more Pacific Point.  The embellishments are Denim Oregon Raindrops.

If I've not said it before, I so love the swirling blues on this paper.  The shaving cream technique is a ton of fun but so very messy!  I made a ton of sheets when I was playing with the shaving cream (and it really is playing!) so I've a lot of sheets in my stash.  This card is fully intended for a male recipient so I kept the layout and embellishments really simple and straightforward.  I love the result!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Tiny Wishes

Hello everyone,

Today's card is my favourite so far!

The background is a piece of Ranger alcohol inked glossy paper layered on Recollections Vanilla and Stampin' Up Bermuda Bay.  The banner strip is punched from more Recollections Vanilla.  The sentiment is Close To My Heart For Every Occasion stamped in Altenew Permanent Black.  The embellishments are from Fabricland.

I don't think I've ever made a piece of alcohol inked glossy paper that I haven't loved!  I love the blended colours, though I have no idea which ones I used.  I know I won't ever be able to replicate it.  I came across this tiny sentiment when I looking through my stamps and knew I'd have to be creative to make it work. I really think it's effective at the end of this long banner.  I could have space the studs and the sentiments better but it still works just fine.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

The Best Swirls

Hello everyone,

Today's post is another 'goodbye'/'good luck' card to augment my stash.

The printed paper is of unknown origin layered on Stampin' Up Marina Mist.  The Marina Mist layer was textured with Couture Creations Drink Me embossing folder.  The sentiment is Rubbernecker Best Wishes stamped in Midnight Muse on Recollections White and layered on Certainly Celery.  The ribbon and embellishment are of unknown origin.

I wanted to craft a card that was more on the masculine side and I think this fits the bill.  I really love the swirly colours and there certainly are a lot to choose from.  I thought the embellishment and the embossed circles worked really well together so it seemed fitting to use a circle punch for the sentiment.  A great result.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Golden Luck

Hello everyone,

It's moving season at the office so I'm working on a series of 'good bye' / 'good luck' cards which I'll be posting over the next few days.

The printed papers are Carta Bella Beautiful Moments.  The sentiment is Gina K Pleasant Plurals stamped in Stampin' Up Bravo Burgundy on Recollections White and layered on more Carta Bella Beautiful Moments.  The ribbon is of unknown origin.

I need a lot of these types of cards in my stash at this time of year and I didn't really know where to start.  I was pretty tired when I had problems making design decisions.  It's not that I don't like this card I just don't think it's my best result.  I love this ribbon application and was inspired by this Simplicity card.  I like how the knot is flat.  I finally decided upon this gold ribbon after trying every colour ribbon in my stash.  It was really hard to craft this card.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Pansy Luck

Hello everyone,

Today's post is the last pansy card that I start working on this past weekend.

The images are Altenew Pretty Pansies stamped in Olive, Moss, Pure Graphite, Midnight Violet, Deep Iris, Lavender Fields, Industrial Diamond, Rose Quartz, Puffy Heart, Purple Wine, Honey Drizzle, Maple Yellow, Citrus Burst, Desert Night, Dusk, and Ocean Waves on Recollections White.  The images were cut with the coordinating Altenew die.  The sentiment is Sentimentally Yours More Scribbled Sentiments stamped in Altenew Pure Graphite on Recollections White and layered on Stampin' Up Pink Pirouette and Old Olive.  The pansies and card are highlighted with White Opal Liquid Pearls.

I so liked the Congratulations card from earlier in the week that I just had to do the Liquid Pearls again.  This is a bit more of a traditional layout.  I used dimensionals with the smaller pansies to add a little more interest though with these flowers, it's not an imperative.  It's probably a good think I ran out of stamped images otherwise I could have just kept going with pansy cards.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Pansy Happiness

Hello everyone,

Today's post is another pansy card.

The images are Altenew Pretty Pansies stamped in Olive, Moss, Pure Graphite, Midnight Violet, Deep Iris, Lavender Fields, Industrial Diamond, Rose Quartz, Puffy Heart and Purple Wine on Recollections White and layered on Stampin' Up Old Olive.  The pansy centers are coloured with Sakura Yellow Gelly Roll pen.  The images were cut with the coordinating Altenew die.  The sentiment is Avery Elle So Happy stamped in Altenew Industrial Diamond.  The pansies and card are highlighted with Star Dust Stickles.

I really wanted to try a bit of a different layout using these pansies.  I thought the two rectangles of Old Olive would look like (or represent) a garden.  It's a modern interpretation but I think it worked really well.  Again, these pansies are pretty amazing!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Pansy Congratulations

Hello everyone,

Today's post is another pretty pansy card.

The images are Altenew Pretty Pansies stamped in Olive, Moss, Pure Graphite, Midnight Violet, Deep Iris, Lavender Fields, Industrial Diamond, Rose Quartz, Puffy Heart, Purple Wine, Honey Drizzle, Maple Yellow, Citrus Burst, Desert Night, Dusk, and Ocean Waves on Recollections White.  The images were cut with the coordinating Altenew die.  The sentiment is Avery Elle Oh Happy Day stamped in Altenew Pure Graphite on Recollections White and layered on Close To My Heart Star Spangled Blue.  The pansies and card are highlighted with White Opal Liquid Pearls.

Whenever I start playing with a new set I never just stop with images for just a single card.  I had so much fun with the Pretty Pansies set that I just kept on going.  I like experimenting with different colours and layouts.  The ideas for this setting just kept flowing.  These pansies are just so bold and beautiful I see endless possibilities.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Wedding Pansies

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a lovely wedding card that was commissioned by a girlfriend.

The images are Altenew Pretty Pansies stamped in Olive, Moss, Pure Graphite, Midnight Violet, Deep Iris, Lavender Fields and Industrial Diamond on Recollections White and highlighted with Golden Rod Stickles.  The images were cut with the coordinating Altenew die.  The cat is a Stamp Barn image stamped in Altenew Industrial Diamond on Recollections White and layered on Stampin' Up Orchid Opulence.  The sentiment is Penny Black Full of Life stamped in Altenew Industrial Diamond.

My girlfriend loves pansies so I jumped at buying this set from Altenew.  This was my first time using it and I think it's my new favourite multi-step stamp.  It was incredible easy to use and the layers came together wonderfully.  This card is for my girlfriend's niece whose wedding colours are purple.  The cat was a bit of an 'offside' comment but I think it makes for a really fun result.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Retro Sweetie

Hello everyone,

Today's post is one of the last retro/vintage recycled cards in this series.  I still have lots of images to use but I need to move on to other cards.

The image is from a recycled card layered on Close To My Heart Poppy and Fern.  The sentiment is Denami Design Upright Happy Birthday stamped in Altenew Velvet and is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.  The embellishments are Me & My Big Ideas Green Rhinestone Singles.

I love this sweet girl.  She rather reminds me of Holly Hobby, which I was really into when I was little.  The images and colours from this card are really wonderful.  I'm thrilled that I managed to salvage two cards from the original.  This image was the front of the card which included the images from the earlier Vintage Birdies card in this vintage series.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Vintage Pansies

Hello everyone,

Today's recycled birthday card was made for one of my girlfriend's.

The images are from a recycled birthday card layered on Stampin' Up Elegant Eggplant and a dark green polka dot Bazzill.  The circles were cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities.  The sentiment is Rubbernecker Happy Birthday stamped in Altenew Pure Graphite.  The card is highlighted with Purple, Lavender, Dark Blue and Starry Night Stickles.

I was thrilled to find a pansy card in the stash of cards my Mom gave me.  I knew I would use it for a girlfriend's card as she loves pansies.  I thought the layout with the circles was interesting.  The bottom circle is slightly raised with dimensionals.  I couldn't choose one particular colour of purple Stickles so I decided to use all of them.  When dried, there really isn't that much of a difference in the colours.  I think my girlfriend will love this card and appreciate that it's one my mother saved from when I was born.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Retro Sweet Puppy

Hello everyone,

Today's post is the second birthday card made from a single birthday card.

The image is from a recycled birthday card layered on Stampin' Up Elegant Eggplant, a dark pink Recollections and a pink Bazzill.  The images were cut with a Spellbinders Nestabilities.  The pink Bazzill layer was trimmed with Martha Stewart's Layered Arches border punch.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up Curly Cute stamped in Melon Mambo.  The card is highlighted with Fruit Punch Stickles.

These sweet images were recycled from the same original card as yesterday's Retro Bunny card.  It amazes me that two very different cards came from the same original card.  I love this cute little puppy.  This is a bit of a different layout than I've been using on the other cards in this Retro/Vintage series but it worked really well for using three images.  It was also perfect for adding Stickles which I think is an imperative for a little girl's card.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Retro Bunny

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a really sweet recycled birthday card.

The image is a recycled card layered on Momenta cardstock and a green Bazzill.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up Tin of Cards stamped in Altenew Bamboo on Recollections white.  The card is highlighted with Lime Green Stickles.

This is such a sweet card.  I just love this bunny.  The green bow is what sparked the entire colour scheme of this card.  I thought the oval shape mimicked an Easter egg which seemed appropriate for an Easter Sunday blog post.  This simple layout really highlights the image.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.
