I've made another niece's Birthday card today. I, of course, want girly, girly, girly so I decided to use Friday's Just For Fun monochromatic colour challenge and today's Card Positioning Systems sketch as jumping off points.
The purple papers are all part of an unknown stash that I've had for years. The image is Stampin' Up Happy Moments and is stamped in a scrap of Very Vanilla. The ribbon is Crafts from the dollar store. The solid purple horizontal strip is punched with Martha Stewart's Rain Drop edge punch. The entire card is highlighted with Lavender Stickles.
Next to clean and simple cards, I love monochromatic cards. I like the results from blending multiple shades of the same colour. I think this surely is a girly enough card for my niece now I only hope she likes purple.
Please enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.
