Hello everyone,
The girls at work asked for another card class. I've chosen to do something pretty that would work for either Mother's Day or a Birthday.
The printed paper is K&Company Jubilee layered on Stampin' Up Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry and Pink Pirouette. The Rich Razzleberry layer is textured with Couture Creations Entangle embossing folder. The butterfly is a Spellbinders Shapeabilities Les Papillions cut from Orchid Opulence and Pale Plum which was glittered with Crystal Glitter Ritz Cool Highlight. The sentiment is Kaisercraft Occasions stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink. The pearls are Kaisercraft Basics.
Putting this card together was a real challenge. I knew I wanted some pretty butterflies with some glitter but I struggled with every other element. Finding paper, figuring out a layout, adding texture or not, there seemed to be no easy decisions. I think it started to go wrong with the butterflies as I wanted the glitter to be the top element, not the bottom. That mistake made it challenging to find paper that would work. The results are still lovely and I'm sure the girls will love their cards, I just wish it had come together just a little easier.
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.
Gisèle
The struggle was well worth it as this card came together stunningly beautiful. That butterfly die is great!
