Christmas In July XIII & XIV

Hello everyone,

Today I have cards thirteen and fourteen in this latest Christmas one sheet wonder series.

The printed paper is BoBunny Winter Joy Magic. The card bases are American Crafts Lavender. The ink is Stampin' Up Lavender Lace.

The printed paper is layered on textured cream Bazzill card stock.  The Stamp Barn sentiment is stamped on more textured cream Bazzill card stock.  The embellishments are Stampin' Up Basic Pearl Jewels.

The printed paper is layered on textured cream Bazzill and American Crafts Robin's Egg card stock.  The sentiment is Stampavie Tina Wenke Holiday Wishes stamped on textured cream Bazzill card stock and layered on American Crafts Robin's Egg and Lavender card stock.  The embellishments are Stampin' Up Basic Pear Jewels.

I really love it when I can match up the images on the printed paper in a layout.  I think it adds just a little bit more to the simple layouts that I've been using on these one sheet wonder cards.  Using the same cutting layouts for all of these series, similarities between cards is unavoidable.  I like to think that the different patterned papers make the cards different enough however, sometimes, there is just a card that I really, really love and I just want to repeat it again and again, so I do!

Christmas In July XI & XII

Hello everyone,

Today I'm posting cards eleven and twelve in the non-traditional Christmas card one sheet wonder series for the Fall card sale at the office.

The printed paper is BoBunny Winter Joy Magic. The card bases are American Crafts Lavender. The ink is Stampin' Up Lavender Lace.

The printed paper has been applied directly to the card base.  The sentiment/image is Bonnidee C'est Noel, stamped in Stampin' Up Lavender Lace on textured cream Bazzill and layered on American Crafts Robin's Egg card stock. The embellishments are Hero Arts Hero Hues Gems.  The entire card is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.

The sentiment is Magenta, stamped in Stampin' Up Lavender Lace on textured cream Bazzill, highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen and layered on American Crafts Robin's Egg card stock.  The printed paper overlaps the left side of the sentiment layer and card base.  The embellishments are EK Success Shimmering Silver Dots.

The card sale is being held in a bilingual region of the country.  At last year's sale there were a number of requests for cards with French sentiments that we just didn't have on hand.  I specifically travelled to Montreal to see what I could find and discovered a couple of great sets.  It has been really wonderful to be able to craft so many beautiful French cards.  I feeling confident that they'll sell otherwise I've no idea what I'll do with them.

Today's cards are numbers nine and ten in the non-traditional Christmas card one sheet wonder series for the Fall card sale at the office.

The printed paper is layered on textured cream Bazzill and American Crafts Robin's Egg card stock.  The sentiment is Stampavie Tina Wenke Holiday Wishes stamped on more textured cream Bazzill card stock.  The embellishments are Multicrafts Keepsakes Memories.

The printed paper is layered on textured cream Bazzill card stock.  The ribbon is Michael's Special Value.  The sentiment is Bonnidee C'est Noel stamped on textured cream Bazzill card stock.  The embellishments are TPC Studio Heartfelt Travel Jewels.

Like all the previous cards in this series, I think these are a couple of great cards.  Simple layouts and simple embellishments crafted into lovely cards.

Christmas In July VII & VIII

Hello everyone,

Today I have cards seven and eight in my latest non-traditional Christmas card one sheet wonder series for the Fall card sale at the office.

The printed paper is BoBunny Winter Joy Magic. The card bases are American Crafts Robin's Egg. The ink is Stampin' Up Lavender Lace.

The printed paper is layered on texture cream Bazzill card stock.  The sentiment is Bonnidee C'est Noel stamped on Very Vanilla.  The embellishments are Martha Stewart White Dimensional Mini Pearls.

The printed paper is layered on texture cream Bazzill, American Crafts Lavender and Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip card stock.  The sentiment and image is Annabelle Stamps Ornamental Christmas. The card is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.

These are another two wonderful cards.  The layouts are really quite simple with the layers providing all the interest.  It can be rather challenging when you've got a number of these card series on the go, even though it's a great cause, to keep the cards interesting and different.  I know that even if they're not all really, really different, these series will turn out beautifully and will go, at least a short ways, to a great cause.

I've cards five and six non-traditional one sheet wonder Christmas cards today.

The printed paper is layered on textured cream Bazzill and American Crafts Lavender card stock.  The sentiment is Bonnidee C'est Noel.  The embellishments are Recollections Silver Adhesive Dots.  The entire card is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.

 Both of these cards are lovely in their simplicity.  A little sparkle, a little shine and voila, two great Christmas cards.

The printed paper is layered on texture cream Bazzill card stock.  The sentiment is Cornish Heritage Farms Vintage Christmas Expressions.  The embellishments are ZVA Self Adhesive Crystals.  The focal layers are highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.

I know you folks will get tired of me saying how much I love these cards but I'm so very, very pleased with the results that I can't help myself.  These colours are fabulous and the images are perfect for non-traditional Christmas cards.  It was so much fun to craft Christmas cards that use 'out of the box' colours while keeping the sentiments and embellishments pretty traditional.

Christmas In July I & II

Hello everyone,

I'm on to my next one sheet wonder series which I've combined with a 'Christmas in July' project.  I did 'Christmas in July' last year and was extremely grateful for having done so when December rolled around.  This particular one sheet wonder series uses non-traditional colours thanks to the fantastic paper however, the sentiments are all about tradition.

The printed paper is BoBunny Winter Joy Magic.  The card bases are American Crafts Robin's Egg.  The ink is Stampin' Up Lavender Lace.

The printed paper is layered on textured Bazzill cream card stock.  The sentiment is Bonnidée C'est Noel stamped on Stampin' Up Very Vanilla.  The embellishments are Hero Arts.

The printed paper is layered on textured Bazzill cream card stock.  The sentiment is Verve O Christmas Tree.  The corner element is BoBunny Winter Joy I Candy dimensionals.  The embellishments are Close To My Heart Bitty Sparkles.

I knew I wanted to craft a one sheet wonder with some non-traditional paper and once I laid eyes on this BoBunny paper, I knew I'd found the perfect card stock.  This particular paper also had some great coordinating stickers that are perfect for this series.  Last year I found some wonderful French sentiments and I'm thrilled to be able to put them to use.
