Cycling Thoughts

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a thinking of you card I crafted for my brother.

The card base is Stampin' Up Cherry Cobbler.  The printed paper is Stampin' Up layered on Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry.  The sentiment is Close To My Heart For Every Occasion stamped in Altenew Jet Black on Recollections White and layered on more Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay.  The embellishments are Mark Richards 3 mm silver metals.

One of my brother's primary means of travel is via bicycle so I put this great bicycle paper aside when I came across it.  I loved playing with the solid paper colours.  I doubt I would have used a red, blue and yellow combination if I hadn't found it in the printed paper.  This is a really simple card, with a straightforward layout.  A great result.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Shark Attack

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a card I crafted for my brother's girlfriend.

The card base is Recollections White.  The printed paper is Photoplay Shark Attack layered on Recollections Black.  The sentiment is Stampendous Friendly Messages stamped in Altenew Jet Black on Recollections White and layered on more Recollections Black.  The card is highlighted with Waterfall Stickles.

I don't get the appeal, but my brother's girlfriend has a thing for sharks. A friend gifted me this shark paper which I knew I'd use for her.  It seems rather ironic that you'd wish someone 'a great day' with a shark card but she'll get the quirky!  It's a simple card and a great result!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

He Rocks

Hello everyone,

Today's post is card I crafted for my father-in-law.

The card base is Stampin' Up Very Vanilla.  The printed paper is DCWV Rockstar Star layered on Stampin' Up Taken With Teal and Early Espresso.  The sentiment is Gina K Tag Lines stamped in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla.

This is part of series of cards I'm making for family and friends to perk them up with physical distancing.  My father-in-law recently picked up the guitar again and has been having a lot of fun playing.  I thought this guitar card was the perfect way to encourage him while at the same time lifting his spirits.  I can't wait to hear him play!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Treasured Friends

Hello everyone,

Today's post is one of a series of cards that I'm crafting to send to friends and family while we're all physically distancing.  I'm hoping they'll give folks a boost!

The card base is Stampin' Up Very Vanilla.  The printed paper is of unknown origin layered on Close To My Heart Heavenly Blue, Crystal Blue and Fern.  The sentiment is Hero Arts Friends Are Treasures stamped in Altenew Dusk on Very Vanilla and layered on more Fern.  The embellishments are EK Success Dots Brights dimensional stickers.

This is a really beautiful piece of paper.  The colours are wonderful, as are the images.  I love the floral paisleys.  This sentiment is part of a set I've had for ages but I don't think I've every used.  I sorted through the odds and ends of envelops that never seems to diminish to try to make a dent in the pile.  There are a wide variety of sizes so I'll be able to use up some of the solid paper stash for card bases.  I'm looking forward to seeing what types of cards I'll be crafting in these interesting times.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Spring Birthday Wishes

Hello everyone,

Today's post is another birthday card I crafted for a girlfriend's upcoming birthday.

The card base is Close To My Heart Pixie.  The printed paper is Close To My Heart Brushed layered on Canary and Hollyhock.  The sentiment is Hero Arts Say It All stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Recollections White.  The card is highlighted with Yellow Stickles.

This is another favourite printed paper that I've been hoarding!  It's so beautiful and fresh, perfect for a cheerful birthday card and let's face it, we all need some cheerful right now!  I played with a variety of solid colours for layering, finally settling on yellow and a dark pink.  I used one of the new sheets of Close To My Heart solid papers which has a dark side and a light side.  I love the 'tone' options!  I think yellow Stickles will become a new favourite for embellishing, it's a very happy glitter colour!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Glittered Wishes

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a birthday card I've crafted for a girlfriend.

The card base is Stampin' Up Calypso Coral.  The printed paper is of unknown origin layered on Stampin' Up Pool Party and highlighted with Yellow Stickles.  The sentiment is a Sizzix Happy Birthday die, cut from Recollections Yellow and highlighted with more Yellow Stickles.

My girlfriend is a sun worshiper who could spend all day, every day on the beach.  It's seemed particularly fitting to use this flip-flop paper for her card.  I also wanted it to be a very cheerful card because the current social distancing situation won't allow her to celebrate her special day with anyone.  I glued three die cuts together for the sentiment, giving this sentiment a little bit extra depth.  The yellow glitter against the yellow paper is just awesome!  I hope this card really brightens her day!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

A Big Thanks

Hello everyone,

Today's post is the last of the French cards I've been crafting.  I'll be giving this card to my teacher along with the set of cards I've crafted.

The card base is Recollections Vanilla.  The various shimmery paper layers are of unknown origin.  The sentiment is Bonnidée French Greetings #2 stamped with Tsukineko Delicata Metals on Recollections Vanilla.  The ribbon is from Michaels.

I just love this card!  I'd been thinking about what type of card I'd craft for my French instructor.  She loves colour and has some lovely jewelry.  I decided layers of browns and golds with different textures and sheen would work for her card.  This is a little more formal than I intended but I still think she'll love it.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Lovely Lily Pads

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a very pretty French birthday card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Bermuda Bay.  The printed paper is Stampin' Up Lily Impressions layered on Petal Pink.  The image is Stampin' Up Lovely Lily Pad stamped in StazOn Olive Green on Recollections White and painted with LuminArte Rose Petal and Summer Breeze Twinkling H2Os.  The sentiment is Bonnidée French Greetings #2 stamped in Mossy Meadow on Recollections White.  The image/sentiment panel is layered on more Petal Pink and a Bermuda Bay banner.  The embellishment is Forever In Time Jeweled Gem.

I didn't use many images in this series but used this 'free' Stampin' Up set to go with this wonderful designer series paper.  It took me a while to find a paint colour to match the printed paper.  Most of the pinks I had were too orange so I decided to use this pale pink.  I love this arched sentiment.  The medium sized lily fit perfectly under the sentiment.  It's another great result.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Butterfly Thanks

Hello everyone,

Today's post is another great French card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Hello Honey.  The printed paper is Stampin' Up English Garden layered on Night of Navy.  The sentiment is Bonnidée Leaves #1 stamped in Close To My Heart Outdoor Denim on Recollections White and layered on more Night of Navy.  The butterfly was cut with the Sizzix Bold Butterfly Framelits from Night of Navy and Hello Honey.  It was highlighted with Star Dust Stickles.

This is another favourite card is this French series.  I love that butterfly!  I've had this set of Framelits forever but obviously don't use it all that often.  The paper is just lovely and one peek at the package reminded me why I bought it!  There are so many colours with which to coordinate and I love them all!  It's a great result!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

A Get Well Garden

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a cheerful French get well card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Old Olive.  The printed paper is Stampin' Up Share What You Love designer series paper layered on Rich Razzleberry.  The sentiment is Bonnidée French Wording #1 stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Recollections White and layered on more Old Olive.  The banner embellishments were paper punched from Rich Razzleberry and are highlighted with Sequins Stickles.

This is another great piece of printed paper!  The images are wonderfully simple as are the colours.  I love the watercolour style.  This paper would work perfectly with a multi-step stamp!  The layout is very simple, one I turn to often.  I love the pop of colour from the banners with the Stickles adding a perfect bit of shine!  It's a great result.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Vertical Birthday

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a very pretty French birthday card.

The card base is Stampin' Up So Saffron.  The printed paper is Stampin' Up Sweet Pea layered on Stampin' Up Rose Red.  The sentiment is Bonnidèe French Greetings #2 stamped in Stampin' Up Early Espresso.  The embellishments are Jolee's All That Bling dimensional stickers.

This is another fairly old piece of Stampin' Up designer series paper.  It was actually a pad of paper with a wide variety of designs.  It's always been a favourite!  I love this butterfly, from which all the colours were drawn.  With all this blank space, it was a perfect opportunity to use the vertical 'happy birthday' sentiment.  It took me a fair bit to find just the right embellishments.  I think these pink metal dots in various sizes work perfectly!  It's a great result.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Cute Condolences

Hello everyone,

So I totally forgot to post the card I had crafted for yesterday.  Social distancing has my routine totally out of whack.  I need to get some kind of routine in place!  All that said, today's post is another pretty French card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Lucky Limeade.  The printed paper is Stampin' Up Berry Blossoms layered on a white of unknown origin.  The sentiment is Bonnidée French Wording #1 stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Recollections white and layered on Stampin' Up Cameo Coral.  The embellishments are Recollections Pearl stickers.

I have only one sheet of this designer series paper left but it's time to use up the stash.  I love these simple images and the colours are wonderful!  It's probably a little on the cheerful side for a sympathy card but sometimes a condolence card should be sent to cheer someone up.  The printed paper is quite busy so I kept the layout simple and didn't add any extra embellishments.  I did choose pearls as opposed to rhinestones in deference to the fact that this is a cute enough sympathy card.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Thinking Of You

Hello everyone,

Today's post is an awesome French thinking of you card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Baja Breeze.  The printed paper is Stampin' up Paisley Petals layered on Bravo Burgundy.  The sentiment is Bonnidée French Greetings #2 stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Recollections Vanilla and layered on more Bravo Burgundy and Baja Breeze.  The card is highlighted with Antique Linen Stickles.

I really wasn't sure if I could make this piece of designer series paper work as the image is only in the bottom right.  Once I decided to angle the sentiment, the card came together easily.  I found the Antique Linen Stickles in my stash and I thought would be perfect with the background of the printed paper.  I love the results!

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Beautiful Roses

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a really beautiful birthday card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Ridinghood Red.  The printed paper is Stampin' Up Bella Rose layered on Pink Pirouette and Close To My Heart Pear.  The sentiment is Bonnidée French Greetings #2 stamped in Altenew Moss on Recollections White and layered on more Pink Pirouette.  The brad is of unknown origin.  The paper banners are die cut from Pink Pirouette, Ridinghood Red and Pear and is highlighted with Fruit Punch Stickles.

I've always love this Bella Rose paper and have only a very little bit left.  The colours and graphics are just beautiful.  The green in the printed paper is Kiwi Kiss which I've long run out of, so I used Close To My Heart Pear which I think works just as well.  I originally planned to use three different ribbons but just couldn't get it to work so I decided to use die cut banners.  It's not what I envisioned but I can easily live with these results.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Vintage-Styled

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a great vintage-styled French all purpose card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Pool Party.  The printed paper is Stampin' Up Spice Cake layered on More Mustard and Very Vanilla.  The sentiment is Bonnidée French Greetings #2 stamped in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla and layered on more Pool Party and More Mustard.  The embellishments are Close To My Heart Brown Sparkles.

This French card series has led me to sort through my printed paper in search of inspiration.  I'm trying to use some of my solid Stampin' Up paper so it just made sense to see what I could use in terms of printed paper.  I found a number of older designer series papers which have been great to use.  This one is from 2011.  I love the colours and the paisley shapes.  I absolutely remember why I bought it in the first place.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Colourful Leaves

Hello everyone,

Today's post is an awesome French birthday card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Rich Razzleberry.  The printed paper is Stampin' Up International Bazaar layered on Stampin' Up Lucky Limeade.  The fan of leaves is cut with a Docrafts Xcut Leaves die from Stampin' Up Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, Pool Pary and Lucky Limeade.  The leaves are highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.  The sentiment is Bonnidée French Greetings #2 stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Recollections White and layered on more Lucky Limeade.

I'm absolutely in love with this card!  It's just as good as I had imagined!  I was inspired, of course, by the leaves on the printed paper.  I was thrilled to have the perfect die for cutting the leaves whose colours were drawn from the printed paper.  I have visions of using this leaf fan for a peacock card.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

A Cheerful Treat

Hello everyone,

Today's post is another lovely French card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Lucky Limeade.  The printed paper is Stampin' Up Cheerful Treat layered on Concord Crush.  The sentiment is Bonnidée French Greetings #2 stamped in Stampin' Up Elegant Eggplant on Recollections White.  The ribbon is of unknown origin.  The embellishments are Recollections rhinestones.

I found out that my French instructor loves this shade of green so it was logical to use it for a couple of card bases.  This is a pretty and delicate printed paper.  I was thrilled to find this lovely polka dot ribbon which couldn't be more perfect for this card.  I love the jaunty angle of the sentiment, very risque for one of my cards.  It's a great result.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Un Petit Mot

Hello everyone,

Today's post is another great French wildflower stem card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Baja Breeze.  The image is a Sizzix Thinklits Wildflower Stems #2 die, cut from a piece of Ranger alcohol inked glossy paper.  The sentiment is Bonnidee Leave #1 stamped in Altenew Desert Night on Recollections White and layered on Stampin' Up Night of Navy.  The White layer was stamped with Hero Arts La Letter in Altenew Sea Glass.  The card is highlighted with Diamond Stickles.

I really love this card.  The shades of blue and white are very appealing.  The background image is, of course, French words.  I borrowed a couple of French stamp sets from a girlfriend and I really love this particular sentiment with the flowing font and it's overall size.  I had to add a little glitter because it's perfect for my instructor.  This is another great result.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Birthday Stem

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a great French birthday card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Night of Navy.  The image is a Sizzix Wildflower Stems #1 die, cut from a piece of Ranger alcohol inked glossy paper.  The sentiment is Bonnidee French Wording #1 stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Recollections White and layered on DCWV Foiled silver card stock. The card is highlighted with Silver Stickles.

I've decided to make a series of all occasion cards as a thank you for my French teacher.  I've been spending some time playing with alcohol inks lately and decided a few alcohol inked wildflower stem cards would be perfect.  These are quite simple cards with an easy elegance.  Of course, a little sparkle is just a necessity.  I love a blue/silver/white colour combination with the alcohol inked stem blending all these colours.  It's a great result.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Lots of Golf

Hello everyone,

Today's card was commissioned by my husband for his boss who is retiring.

The card base is Stampin' Up Night of Navy.  The printed paper is Stampin' Up Country Club layered on Garden Green and Poppy Parade.  The image is Stampin' Up Club House stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Recollections White and cut with the coordinating Golf Club die.  The sentiment is Paper Smooches All Year Cheer stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Recollections White and layered on more Poppy Parade.

I was utterly thrilled to find this stamp set and golf paper in the recent Stampin' Up catalog.  I will get so much use from it.  I did do something a little different with this die cut by cutting three copies of the golfer and adhering them together.  Along with dimensionals, it gave the final image more depth which really looks a lot more finished.  While I was thrilled to make this golf themed card, I only wish my darling hubby had given me just a titch more notice!  He was thrilled with the results.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Art Deco Thank You

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a fabulous thank you card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Brocade Blue.  The images are Stampin' Up Serene Garden stamped in Altenew Persian Blue on Recollections White and layered on Recollections Black.  The sentiment is Poppy Stamps Art Deco You Are Wonderful stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  The card is highlighted with White Opal Liquid Pearls.

I don't use this stamp set as often as I should. It is a wonderful set that is really quick and easy to use.  I was thrilled to find a perfectly coordinating ink colour in my stash of Altenew ink pads.  I love the placement of the sentiment and I think I did pretty well with the Liquid Pearls placement.  This Poppy Stamps sentiment set couldn't work any better with the images.  I'm sure that's what I was thinking when I added it to my 'cart'.  I could repeat this card or a similar version over and over.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Stem of Thanks

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a simple thank you card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Brocade Blue.  The background image is Stampin' Up Gallery Grunge stamped in Brocade Blue ink on Recollections White and layered on Recollections Black.  The image is a Sizzix Wildflower Stem #2 cut from a shimmery black of unknown origin.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up Here's A Card stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  The card is highlighted with Onyx Pearl Liquid Pearls.

I'm having a lot of fun playing with these coloured card bases!  It's been a bit of a challenge coming up with ideas but I don't think you can ever go wrong with sympathy and thank you cards.  I love this stem silhouette.  The shimmery black image against the blue and white is just striking.  I had stamped the background image before coming up with an overall idea and it took me a while to turn to my stash of die cuts.  It was the right choice because this is a great result.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Sympathy Triptych

Hello everyone,

Today's post is another lovely sympathy card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Brocade Blue.  The images are Stampin' Up Faith in Nature stamped in Brocade Blue on Recollections White.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up Teeny Tiny Wishes stamped in Brocade Blue on more Recollections White and layered on Brocade Blue and Recollections White.  The embellishments are Prima Say It With Pearls.

This is another favourite stamp set.  It find it especially versatile and I think I've used for just about every occasion of card (except Christmas).  I don't always use all three images at once but they do work well together.  I've had these pearls in my stash for goodness knows how long and I thought they worked particularly well for the colour and the occasion.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Winged Sympathy

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a simple sympathy card.

The card base is Stampin' Up Brocade Blue.  The image is Stampin' Up Swallowtail stamped in Tsukineko Brilliance Mediterranean Blue and Starlite Black on Recollections White.  The sentiment is Hero Arts Greeting Occasions stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  The card is highlighted with White Opal Liquid Pearls.

I've done a very similar card in the past.  This image is one of my all time favourites.  I don't think I've every crafted a card using it that hasn't turned out great!  I've decided to try and use up some of the oodles of paper in my stash so am committing to making better use of it by using it for card bases.  I really like how the coloured card base looks with this over-sized image panel.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Tulip Love

Hello everyone,

Today's post is another very simple all purpose card.

The card base is Recollections White.  The image is Stampin' Up Terrific Tulips stamped in Altenew Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Coral Berry and Ruby Red on Recollections Vanilla.  The sentiment is of unknown origin stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  The image/sentiment panel is layered on Close To My Heart Blossom.

I was so happy with yesterday's card I decided to repeat it with a tulip image.  This is a great multi-step stamp.  It's a great image and really easy to use.  Spring is coming and after the three daffodil cards from earlier this week it seemed only appropriate to pull out some of my tulip stamps.  The Altenew inks are pretty bright so this is quite a happy card.  I love the simple sentiment, placed in the design sweet spot and overlapping the image.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Simple Sympathy

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a simple sympathy card.

The card base is Recollections Vanilla.  The image is Penny Black The Look of Love stamped in Tsukineko Brilliance Pearlescent Crimson, Ivy and Olive on Recollections Vanilla.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up Here's A Card stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  The image/sentiment panels is layered on Stampin' Up Blackberry Bliss.

This stamp was borrowed from a friend and I've not played with it all that often as yet.  I love this image!  It's a very easy image on which to apply multiple colours of ink.  I used the Tsukineko cat's eye spots because I wanted that little bit of sheen from the pearlescent inks.  It's a very simple image so I kept the layout equally simple.  I just love the result.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Birthday Butterflies

Hello everyone,

Today's post is a birthday card I crafted for my French teacher who recently celebrated her birthday.

The card base is Recollections White.  The image is Memory Box First Flight stamped in Tsukineko Brilliance Pearlescent Beige, Crimson, Rust and Crimson Copper on Recollections White and layered on a brushed gold of unknown origin and Stampin' Up Blackberry Bliss.  The image panel is a piece of Ranger alcohol inked Yupo paper.  The sentiment is Bonnidée French Wording #1 stamped in Blackberry Bliss on Recollections White and layered on more brushed gold and Blackberry Bliss.  The card is highlighted with Mercury Glass Stickles.

My French teacher is a great woman.  We really have a great time together no matter how many times she has to correct my terrible grammar.  I didn't have anything particular in mind when I sat down at my desk to craft but knew her carded needed colour and a bit of sparkle.  This is a great image with which to use multiple ink colours.  The few Tsukineko inks that I have are the cat's eye style so, like ink spots, are easy to use when inking an image.  I adhered the sentiment on an angle because I felt it flowed well with the 'flight' of butterflies.

My teacher loved her card!  You'd think she'd been given a huge gift not just a simple card.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Spring Daffodil III

Hello everyone,

Today's post is the last of the daffodil card I crafted on the weekend.

The card base is Recollections White.  The background is a piece of Ranger alcohol inked Yupo paper layered on a white of unknown origin and Stampin' Up Powder Pink and Barely Banana.  The images are Altenew Build-A-Flower Daffodil stamped in Altenew Jet Black, Buttercream, Warm Sunshine, Citrus Burst, Peach Perfect, Pink Pearl and Rouge on Recollections White and cut with the coordinating die.  The sentiment is of unknown origin stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Recollections White.  The embellishments are Annabelle stamps pearls.

This is a much different card than the last two.  I wanted to try pink centers on the daffodils.  I was quite pleased with the results which further inspired the background layers.  I didn't use any of the greenery with these daffodils because I couldn't find a great placement with this layout.  I do like to pop of yellow against the pink.  Again this alcohol inked piece of Yupo paper was a fail but I still liked the results.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Spring Daffodil II

Hello everyone

Today's post is the second daffodil card I crafted this past weekend.

The card base is Recollections White.  The background layer is a piece of Yupo paper coloured with a variety of Ranger alcohol inks and layered on a white of unknown origin and Stampin' Up Crushed Curry.  The images are Altenew Build-A-Flower Daffodil stamped in Altenew Jet Black, Fresh Lemon, Honey Drizzle, Warm Sunshine, Olive, Parrot, Maple Yellow and Citrus Burst on Recollections White and cut with the coordinating die.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up Express Yourself stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Recollections White.  The card is highlighted with Crafts Rhinestone Stickers.

These two daffodils are so jolly!  This wasn't at all the alcohol inked background I'd intended.  I was attempting to have something more wispy and less solid.  It's a technique I came across via Jennifer McGuire's blog.  It was an epic fail on my part but I'll keep at it.  What I did manage still works wonderfully with these daffodils.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Spring Daffodil

Hello everyone,

Today's post is another great spring card.

The card base is Recollections White.  The background image is Stampin' Up stamped in Altenew Frayed Leaf on Recollections White and layered on Lucky Limeade.  The image is Altenew Build-A-Flower Daffodil stamped in Altenew Jet Black, Fresh Lemon, Honey Drizzle, Warm Sunshine, Olive, Parrot, Maple Yellow and Citrus Burst on Recollections White and cut with the coordinating die.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up Here's A Card stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  The card is highlighted with Yellow Stickles.

I'm still not done wishing for spring even though today was wonderfully sunny and not too cold.  I picked up this Altenew set in the fall and hadn't yet got around to experimenting.  Daffodils are such cheerful flowers.  I was quite pleased to come across this set.  Fair warning, this multi-step stamp is not for the faint of heart.  I stamped and cut images for three cards and it took me a good couple of hours.  I'm glad the cards were absolutely worth the effort.

I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.
