Hello everyone,
Today I'm posting the last of the forty-seven card in my Christmas In July series. It is also the last Christmas card in the dozen requested by my sister.
The printed paper is atd Snow Day. The solid papers are Stampin' Up Old Olive, Real Red and Whisper White. The sentiment is Technique Tuesday Celebrate The Season. The embellishments are TPC Studio Holly Jolly brads.
This is yet another scrap card. I suspect I could have done a month's worth of Christmas card using only scraps. Maybe that will be my next challenge. I'd love to try the repeating element in a Christmas theme. Goodness know I've enough Christmas stuff it wouldn't be that difficult.
I hope that you've enjoyed this month of Christmas cards as well as this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July Once Again
Hello everyone,
This is the second last Christmas In July card. Where has this month gone. Today and tomorrow's card are the last ones for my sister. This is by no means the end of Christmas cards. I love crafting them so much I couldn't image stopping in July!
The printed paper is Fancy Pants On The Tree, layered on Stampin' Up Cherry Cobbler. The image is Annabelle Stamps Ornamental Christmas also stamped in Cherry Cobbler. The sentiment is from Serendipity, stamped in Cherry Cobbler on Very Vanilla. The entire card is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.
I went back to my scrap bin for this card. I love the vintage feel of this paper as well as the many different colours that coordinate with it. I went traditional with this Cherry Cobbler paper. I hadn't intended to do an entire row of this stamped image but somehow I just couldn't stop at one impression. The Clear Star pen made the ink run so I had to be very careful but I love how it turned out. It just came together!
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July Once More
Hello everyone,
We're coming to the end of this Christmas In July series. All these latest cards have been crafted for my sister. I hope she'll be pleased.
The base layer is Stampin' Up Baja Breeze textured with Cuttlebug's Winter Wonderland embossing folder and painted with LuminArte Bashful Blue Twinkling H2Os. The printed paper is Stampin' Up Ski Slope layered on a shimmery white of unknown origin. The ribbon, also of unknown origin, is layered on more shimmery white. The sentiment is Stampendous Christmas Wishes stamped in Baja Breeze on Whisper White. The embellishments are Recollections Adhesive Embellishments.
As much as I love traditional Christmas cards, I love crafting cards with this blue. This card is wonderful with the different layers and textures. It makes a simple scrap into a really awesome card.
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July Times Two
Hello everyone,
I know you're all shocked but I was so exhausted last night I couldn't get up the energy to blog last night. By way of apology, I've two Christmas cards for you today.
The paper is all from Close To My Heart, Mistletoe, Cranberry, New England Ivy and Colonial White. The sentiment is Hero Arts Holiday Sayings stamped in Nick Bantock Vermillion Lacquer. The embellishments are Making Memories Mistletoe brads.
The printed paper is of unknown origin layered on Stampin' Up Real Red. The gold is also of unknown origin. The sentiment is Hero Arts Holiday Sayings stamped in Nick Bantock Vermillion Lacquer on Very Vanilla. The embellishments are TPC Studio Wedding Silhouettes.
I thought I may be getting tired of Christmas cards by this point but I'm not. I love going through all the bits of Christmas scrap paper and just seeing what happens. It's is rare that I don't like the results. The sentiment on the second card was originally intended for the first card but it was too large. I wanted to affix it to the card with one of the brads so it had a hole in the top left corner that I needed to hide. I thought the diagonal gold strips were a brilliant cover-up. Needless to say, I'm very, very happy with both of these cards.
I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

Even More Christmas In July
Hello everyone,
I just had a moment of panic wondering how I would title next year's Christmas In July...I've twelve months to come up with something inspiring. Today is yet another card for my sister's Christmas dozen. It is a 'scrap' card.
All the printed paper and solid papers are Little Yellow Bicycle (LYB) 25 Days of Christmas. The sentiment is Hero Arts Very Merry Christmas stamped in Stampin' Up Cherry Cobbler on Whisper White. The embellishments are Crystal Stickers Gold Pearls.
A 'scrap' card uses only bits of printed paper from my scrap bin. I keep smaller printed paper scraps in envelops, clearly labelled and sorted by brand. Larger scraps are kept together with paperclips in 12X12 plastic sleeves. This way, I can keep track of what I'm using when I craft a card, making blogging so much easier. I use every little bit of this LYB paper because I love it so much! It is a very, very smooth cardstock with just a little bit of sheen that is just wonderful to work with. There is something so decadent about using a lot of embellishments on a card. I actually thought about adding these dull pearls all the way down each side of the printed strip but I stopped myself at odd numbered groupings.
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July Again
Hello everyone,
Today's card, another for my sister, takes advantage of the Martha Stewart Christmas paper I have.
The printed paper is Martha Stewart Snowflace Mat Pad. The sentiment is Verve O Christmas Tree stamped in Stampin' Up Cherry Cobbler on Whisper White and layered on Canford Silver. The embellishments are Recollections Silver Glitter Dots.
This is such a quick and easy card. Like yesterday's card, it is all about the fantastic Martha Stewart paper. In less than 10 minutes, an incredible Christmas card. Would that they all happen this easily.
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July Continued
Hello everyone,
Today I'm posting another Christmas card that I'm crafting for my sister.
The printed paper is Martha Stewart Snowflace Mat Pad. The image is Penny Black Crystal Wreath stamped in Stampin' Up Always Artichoke on Whisper White then heat embossed with Close To My Heart Silver Pearl embossing powder. The sentiment is Kaisercraft Christmas Mini Clear Stamps also stamped in Always Artichoke on Whisper White and layered on Canford Silver. The embellishments are EK Success Shimmering Silver Dots.
I think this card is absolutely beautiful. I can't believe how wonderful the stamp (which I've not used previously) coordinates with this paper. As always, I'm amazed at the results of the silver pearl embossing powder with a dark colour ink. This card is actually extraordinarily simple but looks like so much more thanks to this awesome paper.
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

More Christmas In July
Hello everyone,
I've finally decided to stop using Roman numerals for this Christmas In July series. I just can't do it anymore! This is a very traditional Christmas card as part of the dozen cards I'm crafting for my sister.
The background paper is BasicGrey Jovial layered on Stampin' Up textured Always Artichoke. The image is Paper Inspirations Jolly Santa stamped in Always Artichoke on Very Vanilla and layered on Real Red. The embellishments are Multicrafts.
I love that this image is combined with a sentiment. It is not one I use often but I felt is was somewhat vintage which worked really well with the BasicGrey paper. This is a great traditional card that was really quick and easy to pull together.
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July XXXVIII
Hello everyone,
This is the last card I've got with funky Echo Park Paper Co. paper. That is not to say that you won't see some it on my own Christmas cards but it's enough for my sister's cards.
The printed paper is Echo Park Paper Co. Holly Jolly Christmas Stockings Are Hung layered on Stampin' Up Early Espresso. The sentiment is Stampin' up Sassy Salutations stamped in Bermuda Bay on Whisper White and layered on Early Espresso and Bermuda Bay. The card is highlighted with Star Dust Stickles.
I find these stockings just so darn cute! I love the different colours and the random placement. There are so many different solid colours that can be used with this paper. The possibilities are endless. This paper would have made a wonderful one sheet wonder but I didn't want to subject you to yet one more Christmas one sheet wonder when I've still got another masculine series for you.
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July XXXVII
Hello everyone,
I've another card is the set of Christmas cards for my sister. I suspect I'll have another 'Christmas' series given that between the two Christmas one sheet wonders for the card sale at work and this series, I'll only have crafted a single Christmas card for my own stash.
The printed paper is Echo Park Paper Co. Holly Jolly Christmas Snowy Sidewalks layered on Stampin' Up Bermuda Bay. The snowflakes are Spellbinders Create-A-Flake Three cut from Bermuda Bay paper that was glittered with Glitter Ritz Cool Highlight Transparent Microfine Glittler. The sentiment is Kaisercraft Christmas Mini Clear Stamps stamped in Bermuda Bay on Whisper White. The embellishments are Stampin' Up Basic Rhinestone jewels.
Like yesterday's trees, these snowflakes are just so pretty! I love the different colours. It was a bit of a no brainer to die cut some glittered snowflakes. I just love how it all came together. A little bit of colour, a little bit of glitter and a little bit of shimmer - how can you go wrong.
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July XXXVI
Hello everyone,
Today I'm posting another card for the Christmas cards I'm crafting for my sister. I've pulled out a few sheets of Echo Park Paper Co. paper that appealed because they're rather funky.
The printed paper is Echo Park Paper Co. Holly Jolly Christmas Snowy Tree Tops layered on a sheet of textured Bazzill card stock, further textured with Sizzix Phrase, Wishes & Kisses. The sentiment is Stampabilities Merry Christmas 06 stamped in Stampin' Up Early Espresso on Whisper White and layered on Early Espresso. The embellishments are TPC Studio Christmas Cheer Jewels. The card was glittered with Patina and Star Dust Stickles.
I've not used Stickles on a card in a while but this card was just perfect for them. I was a little worried they'd dried out but was pleasantly surprised that they worked wonderfully. I really like the different colour tress of this paper. Isn't this a fantastic non-traditional Christmas card?
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July XXXV
Hello everyone,
I'm really regretting using roman numerals in the post titles this month. I've never used this high a roman numeral and actually had to check to make sure I had the correct letters. My sister, one of my best customers, has asked for a dozen Christmas cards. I'm crafting a mix of funky and traditional that I'm confident she'll love.
The printed paper is Bella Blvd Winter Wonder layerd on Stampin' Up Old Olive. The sentiment is an old Stampin' Up stamp but I've no idea which set. It was stamped in Early Espresso on Whisper White and layered on Early Espresso. The embellishments are TPC Studio Christmas Cheer Jewels. The entire card is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.
Are these skates not the cutest? My sister was a figure skater for years and I know she'll love this card. I rather like that it's not traditional Christmas paper but it turned in to such a wonderful Christmas card. I've got a few tags to craft and I know that this paper will be wonderful!
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July XXXIII & XXXIV
Hello everyone,
Am I ever regretting the roman numerals in the titles right about now. Good thing though, these are the last two cards in the traditional Christmas card one sheet wonder series for the Fall card sale at my office. This was a really great set to do. I still have more Christmas cards on my plate as my sister has asked for a dozen.
The card base is Stampin' Up Very Vanilla. The patterned paper is Webster's Pages Mistletoe Kisses, layered on American Crafts Crimson and a gold paper of unknown origin. The sentiment is Technique Tuesday Celebrate the Seasons stamped in Real Red on Very Vanilla. The embellishments are Mark Richards Gold Metal.
The card base is Stampin' Up Very Vanilla. The patterned paper is Webster's Pages Mistletoe Kisses, layered on American Crafts Crimson. The sentiment is Serendipity Stamps stamped in Real Red on Very Vanilla. The embellishments are Crystal Stickers gold pearls and TPC Studio Timeless Christmas Jewels.
Ah the final two cards! While I'm not tired of Christmas cards, I do think I'm in need of a wee break from the one sheet wonder. The first card used a number of scraps that were lying around on my desk and I just randomly layered them until I was happy with the layout. I think I was rather lucky that this worked as well as it did when I crafted some of the cards in this series.
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Hello everyone,
Christmas In July is moving right along. I can't believe how many cards are being built up in my stash. Today I'm posting cards thirteen and fourteen in the traditional Christmas card one sheet wonder series.
The card base is Stampin' Up Very Vanilla. The patterned paper is Webster's Pages Mistletoe Kisses, layered on American Crafts Crimson. The image is Sandylion Essentials. The sentiment is Hero Arts Holiday Sayings stamped in Real Red ink.

The sentiment is Bonnidee C'est Noel stamped in Real Red on Very Vanilla. The embellishments are TPC Studio Timeless Christmas Jewels. The card is highlight with Sakura Gold Shadow Gelly Roll pen.
I just love the simplicity of these cards. Isn't that sled stick amazing. I think that card took me less than five minutes to put together but it looks like a million bucks!
I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

Hello everyone,
I'm post cards eleven and twelve in the traditional Christmas card one sheet wonder series.
The card base is American Crafts Crimson. The patterned paper is Webster's Pages Mistletoe Kisses, layered on Stampin' Up Very Vanilla. The image is BoBunny iCandy Chipboard Layered Stickers. The embellishments are TPC Studio Timeless Christmas Jewels.

It was rather late when I was crafting these two cards. I had a number of scraps on my desk and just started playing with them until I found a layout that was pleasing. Thank goodness for scraps, stickers and bling. If only all cards same together so easily.
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July XXVII & XXVIII
Hello everyone,
I really hope you're not getting tired of these Christmas cards. I still have three more posts to go as today's cards are only numbers nine and ten in this latest one sheet wonder series. I also have at least one more masculine one sheet wonder series to go and I'm thinking, if I'm not totally sick of them, a kid's series too. Oh, I'm also going to have a ton of gift cards too, if the bases I've cut are anything to go by.
The patterned paper is Webster's Pages Mistletoe Kisses. The card bases are American Crafts Crimson and Stampin' Up Very Vanilla. The ink is Stampin' Up Real Red.
The patterned paper is layered on American Crafts Crimson and a gold of unknown origin. The sentiment is Bonnidee C'est Noel. The embellishments are Recollections Red Glitter Adhesive Dots.
The patterned paper is layered on Stampin' Up Very Vanilla and a gold of unknown origin. The image, Annabelle Christmas Scene Baubles, stamped in Real Red on Very Vanilla and layered on a gold of unknown origin. The sentiment is Bonnidee Layering Trees also stamped in Real Red of Very Vanilla. The card is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.
The patterned paper on the second card really inspired the stamped image. I thought, once the patterned paper was cut, it looked like the star of Bethlehem and figured this image was perfect for a scene. I'm normally so horrible with scenes that I'm really quite proud of this one.
I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July XIX & XX
Hello everyone,
I'm starting to post the next one sheet wonder series today. This is the traditional Christmas card series.
The patterned paper is Webster's Pages Mistletoe Kisses. The card base is American Crafts Crimson. The ink is Stampin' Up Real Red.
The patterned paper is layered on Stampin' Up Very Vanilla. The image is BoBunny iCandy Chipboard Layered Stickers. The embellishments are TPC Studio Timeless Christmas Jewels.
The patterned paper is layered on Stampin' Up Very Vanilla. The sentiment is Verve Glad Tidings, stamped on Very Vanilla in Real Red. The embellishments are TPC Studio Timless Christmas Jewels.
In addition to this great patterned paper, I found these great chipboard stickers that coordinate beautifully with the paper even though they're from a different company. In the spirit of the one sheet wonder, I wanted to keep everything really simple and using these stickers on some of the cards helped me tremendously. Absolutely anyone, even the greenest beginner, could easily replicate this series.
I hope you enjoy these card and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July Gift Tags I - IV
Hello everyone,
At last year's card sale one of the most popular items was 3x3 gift tags. I plan to make quite few for this Fall's sale and started with some made from scraps of the card bases of the one sheet wonder series I just finished.
The tag base is American Crafts Robin's Egg. The sentiment, Verve Bright Spirits, is stamped in Stampin' Up Lavender Lace on Very Vanilla and layered on American Crafts Lavender. The images are BoBunny iCandy Dimensionals. The embellishments are Close To My Heart Bitty Sparkles. The tag is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.
The tag base is textured cream Bazzill card stock. The images are BoBunny iCandy Dimensionals. The sentiment is Verve Glad Tidings stamped in Stampin' Up Lavender Lace.
The tag base is American Crafts Robin's Egg. The image is Verve O Christmas Tree. The sentiment is Bonnidee Layering Trees. Both the image and sentiment are stamped in Stampin' Up Lavender Lace on textured cream Bazzill card stock and layered on American Crafts Lavender. The image is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen. The embellishment is TPC Studio Christmas Cheer Jewels.
The tag base is American Crafts Lavender. The image is Verve Glad Tidings stamped in Stampin' Up Lavender Lace textured white Bazzill card stock. The embellishments are TPC Studio Heartfelt Travel Jewels. The tag is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.
I love making these tags. They are so quick and easy and use up scraps in a big way. It really doesn't take much to craft something really eye catching and it is so much more personal than anything you could buy in a store.
I hope you enjoy these tags and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July XVI, XVII & XVIII
Hello everyone,
I have the last three cards, fifteen, sixteen and seventeen, in the non-traditional Christmas card one sheet wonder series I've been crafting.
The printed paper is BoBunny Winter Joy Magic. The card bases are American Crafts Robin's Egg and Lavender. The ink is Stampin' Up Lavender Lace.
The card base was stamped with Hero Arts Holiday Background. The printed paper is layered on textured cream Bazzill card stock. The sentiment, My Favorite Things Merry & Bright is also stamped on textured cream Bazzill card stock. The embellishments are Close To My Heart Bitty Sparkles and Purple Sparkles.
A border punch (either EK Success or Stampin' Up) was used on the bottom edge of the card base. The printed paper was layered on textured cream Bazzill card stock. The ribbon is Michael's Special Value. The sentiment is Annabelle Stamps Jewelled Tree. The embellishments are Close To My Heart Purple Sparkles.
The patterned paper is layered on American Crafts Lavender. The sentiment, Wordsworth Merry Christmas Script, is stamped on textured cream card stock. The embellishments are Stampin' Up Basic Pearl Jewels.
I just love that I can craft seventeen cards from a single sheet of 12 x 12 patterned paper. That is pretty great value. The layouts, techniques and embellishments may be pretty simple but these cards are turning out just wonderfully. I'm so pleased with the results.
Over the next couple of days, I'll be posting some gift tags that were crafted with some of the leftover card stock. After that, I'll be posting the traditional Christmas card one sheet wonder series.
I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July XIII & XIV
Hello everyone,
Today I have cards thirteen and fourteen in this latest Christmas one sheet wonder series.
The printed paper is BoBunny Winter Joy Magic. The card bases are American Crafts Lavender. The ink is Stampin' Up Lavender Lace.
The printed paper is layered on textured cream Bazzill card stock. The Stamp Barn sentiment is stamped on more textured cream Bazzill card stock. The embellishments are Stampin' Up Basic Pearl Jewels.
The printed paper is layered on textured cream Bazzill and American Crafts Robin's Egg card stock. The sentiment is Stampavie Tina Wenke Holiday Wishes stamped on textured cream Bazzill card stock and layered on American Crafts Robin's Egg and Lavender card stock. The embellishments are Stampin' Up Basic Pear Jewels.
I really love it when I can match up the images on the printed paper in a layout. I think it adds just a little bit more to the simple layouts that I've been using on these one sheet wonder cards. Using the same cutting layouts for all of these series, similarities between cards is unavoidable. I like to think that the different patterned papers make the cards different enough however, sometimes, there is just a card that I really, really love and I just want to repeat it again and again, so I do!
I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July XI & XII
Hello everyone,
Today I'm posting cards eleven and twelve in the non-traditional Christmas card one sheet wonder series for the Fall card sale at the office.
The printed paper is BoBunny Winter Joy Magic. The card bases are American Crafts Lavender. The ink is Stampin' Up Lavender Lace.
The printed paper has been applied directly to the card base. The sentiment/image is Bonnidee C'est Noel, stamped in Stampin' Up Lavender Lace on textured cream Bazzill and layered on American Crafts Robin's Egg card stock. The embellishments are Hero Arts Hero Hues Gems. The entire card is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.
The sentiment is Magenta, stamped in Stampin' Up Lavender Lace on textured cream Bazzill, highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen and layered on American Crafts Robin's Egg card stock. The printed paper overlaps the left side of the sentiment layer and card base. The embellishments are EK Success Shimmering Silver Dots.
The card sale is being held in a bilingual region of the country. At last year's sale there were a number of requests for cards with French sentiments that we just didn't have on hand. I specifically travelled to Montreal to see what I could find and discovered a couple of great sets. It has been really wonderful to be able to craft so many beautiful French cards. I feeling confident that they'll sell otherwise I've no idea what I'll do with them.
I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.

Christmas In July VII & VIII
Hello everyone,
Today I have cards seven and eight in my latest non-traditional Christmas card one sheet wonder series for the Fall card sale at the office.
The printed paper is BoBunny Winter Joy Magic. The card bases are American Crafts Robin's Egg. The ink is Stampin' Up Lavender Lace.
The printed paper is layered on texture cream Bazzill card stock. The sentiment is Bonnidee C'est Noel stamped on Very Vanilla. The embellishments are Martha Stewart White Dimensional Mini Pearls.
The printed paper is layered on texture cream Bazzill, American Crafts Lavender and Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip card stock. The sentiment and image is Annabelle Stamps Ornamental Christmas. The card is highlighted with Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen.
These are another two wonderful cards. The layouts are really quite simple with the layers providing all the interest. It can be rather challenging when you've got a number of these card series on the go, even though it's a great cause, to keep the cards interesting and different. I know that even if they're not all really, really different, these series will turn out beautifully and will go, at least a short ways, to a great cause.
I hope you enjoy these cards and come back to SPI again soon.
