Hello everyone,
Today's card is for my girlfriend's birthday. She loves pansies and this was the perfect excuse for trying these butterfly punch flowers.
The background paper is Autumn Leaves Emily textured with Darice Flower embossing folder and highlighted with Tattered Angels Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist. The flowers are textured DCWV, highlighted with Y&C Gold Gel Xtreme and Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen. The brads are of unknown origin. The horizontal strip is more textured DCWV punched with EK Success Bangle Chain Trim. The sentiment is Close To My Heart Joyful Birthday stamped in Stampin' Up Elegant Eggplant on Whisper White.
I've always thought these butterfly punched pansies are really sweet. Best of all they are so easy! I love the purple and yellow combination which always speaks pansies to me. I think my girlfriend will love this card.
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Beautiful Blossoms
Hello everyone,
Today's thank you card uses unconventional colours but turned out better than I expected.
The printed paper is We R Memory Keepers Hoopla - Gala layered on Close To My Heart Gold Rush and Stampin' Up Rich Razzleberry. The image is Stampin' Up Stippled Blossoms stamped in Rich Razzleberry and Ranger Spun Sugar Distress ink on Whisper White and layered on more Rich Razzleberry and Gold Rush. The flowers are highlighted with Y&C gold Gel Extreme. The sentiment is Gina K Framed Greetings stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Whisper White and layered on Rich Razzleberry. The embellishments are ZVA Self Adhesive Pearls.
I'm so thrilled with this card. I am totally in love with the layered stamp. Using my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, the images come out so great! I'm terrible at colouring so being able to give images this kind of multi-layered depth is right up my ally. Like the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, it took me a while to get the hang of it but now that I've mastered this technique, it's hard to imagine not using this type of stamp whenever I get the chance.
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

More Ornaments A Glittering
Hello everyone,
This is one shimmering and sparkling Christmas card.
The background paper is a shimmering green of unknown origin that was textured with Embossalicious Die'sire Holiday Holly embossing folder and layered on Bazzill gold foil. The ornaments are Peel-Offs gold Christmas balls glittered with a variety of Martha Stewart glitter. The sentiment is Verve Glad Tidings stamped in Colorbox gold and highlighted with Y&C Gel Xtreme gold.
This is one amazing card. I love the way the shimmering, embossed background is just fantastic. This ornaments were particularly fussy to glitter but so worth the effort. This card is just fantastic. I can't believe I waited so long to use these spectacular elements.
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.

Pretty Poinsettia
Hello everyone,
I was having so much fun painting yesterday's image that I decided to try another.
The card base is Artoz Klondike. The image is from Harmonie, stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Stampin' Up Whisper White, clear heat embossed and painted with LuminArte Twinkling H2Os. The poinsettia center is coloured with Y&C Gel Extreme gold. The sentiment is Annabelle Ornamental Christmas stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on Whisper White, layered on a metallic red of unknown origin and more Whisper White. The embellishments are Teresa Collins Fabrications "Linen" rhinestone.
I was probably a little eager to get painting this pretty poinsettia as I could have done a better job with the shading. That said, it's still a very pretty card and it was a joy to work with this image. In hindsight, as I look at this card, I should have used black and red under the sentiment instead of white and red. I would have been a nicer balance. I really like this card and I know whomever receives it will also appreciate it.
I hope you enjoy this card and come back to SPI again soon.
