Today's post is a great masculine/neutral birthday card.
The textured paper is of unknown origin layered on Recollections Kraft and Stampin' Up Basic Black. The sentiment, cut from more Recollections Kraft, is Sizzix Stampin' Up Happy Birthday Thinlits.
This is one of the most awesome 'happy birthday' die cuts I've found. It's big and bold with a font that works against any background! I probably could have used this on every card in this commission! The textured paper doesn't evoke 'birthday' but the distressed texture works really wonderfully with the kraft elements. No extra embellishments required. I love the result!
